Inter are doing everything possible to support Roberto Mancini in the January market despite facing sanctions from UEFA’s Financial Fair Play committee. Gazzetta dello Sport updates the situation this morning stating that Inter’s books were examined again for three days by a contingent from Nyon. Of the seven sides facing an investigation Inter’s situation is by far the worst. The club will appeal that there is mitigating circumstances and that they are doing everything to fall in line with the new directives. Penalties ranging from fines to a transfer ban are all possible. The club could face expulsion from European competition (although this highly unlikely). A decision is due in late February early March 2015.
