Bild reports the backstory behind the deal bringing Lukas Podolski to Inter.
Broker Nassim Touihiri saved the negotiations for Podolski after Wenger’s comments about Inter’s first offer being a “joke.” The intermediary worked with Ausilio on reviving the deal after the two parties argued over the public remarks. The two parties agreed on the deal after returning to relaxed dialogue through the mediator.
