Spanish Media keeps reporting about Lavezzi’s situation. After Podolski arrived it seems like Inter’s main target is Xherdan Shaqiri which according to Plaza deportivo could mean that the Nerazzurri puts less pressure on Lavezzi. The newspaper is also reporting that Valencia is observing the situation of the striker and that the Spanish team is in pole position to sign Lavezzi.

lavezzi isnt as stable, consistent & well coached as shaqiri but he can work the odd miracle & is a very good counter attacking player. I think judging from Inter’s new attacking high pressure style Shaqiri may be a better choice though Lavezzi may settle much quicker
I guess we won’t be needing Lavezzi if we can close for Shaqiri, and even if we do, Valencia can’t do shit before PSG decide what they do with Lavezzi, at which point Inter will be vigilant as well.

Do we really need two 29 year old players? We managed to get podolski and pretty much not spend anything but Lavezzi would be different.
We should think about building the club and making investments that are going to benefit Inter in the long run. Shaqiri would be a much better choice.
