After the happy news of signing Xherdan Shaqiri, here comes a bit of a bitter news for another striker in Osvaldo after his reaction to Icardi’s miss-chance against Juventus last Tuesday, his agent spoke to Sky saying:
”We do not know if Inter are intending to dispose of Osvaldo, because he is on loan from Southampton and they have to find a way with the team first, then if we should also adjust based on the rumors. In Italy, at the time, Torino and Fiorentina are seriously looking for a striker, let’s wait and see.”

I read that when Mancini told osvaldo to help the team when in not possession, osvaldo told Mancini why not that icardi who cant even play football. The words might be different but that was what I read from somewhere in fcinternews.it
I agree that osvaldo is agreat player and way better than icardi. Podolski osvaldo and shaqiri is simply the best attack in the league. But it’s pretty logical to dispose one striker (currently have 4 and we need only one per game) and fill one more winger in case of podolski and shaqiri injured. If it’s true that osvaldo will leave (even though honestly I prefer icardi to leave), there must be a winger to replace him either lavezzi, salah, or januzaj.

Yeah I just saw it…the irony of it is most of the Inter fans are behind him and support him in his move against Icardi, if he has a shred of decency and brains he would apologize. The fans will love him even more for that. Tbh I never ever liked Icardi, not on or off the pitch, will be sad if Dani leaves.

Not really Icardi is not the first option, Osvaldo became a regular starter at the end of Mazzarri’s tenure then he got injured and his wife’s situation so Icardi got some breathing room. There is no way in hell Icardi would start over Osvaldo in the long run if Osvaldo stays and proves himself. INTER MANAGEMENT and MANCINI NEED TO SIT DOWN WITH HIM AND SQUASH THIS THING NOW!! Do your magic Ausilio, Thohir should get involved aswell. It is all going to come down to the management and how good it is. Balotelli threw Inter’s shirt to the ground and we were able to tolerate him for a while. This guy whatever he’s done had a reason to do it, SORT IT OUT AUSILIO, Do your magic!

Doesn’t mean his value goes down if we bench him for 2 games or play with 2 strikers up front, palacios days are numbered anyway, we need osvaldo. If he leaves I will be really upset. He was right to react and he certainly doesn’t deserve this treatment, actually he should play over Icardi in the 1st squad. He dribbles way better, is stronger, jumps higher, has good movement in the box and is equally good at finishing if not better than Icardi…
+he holds on the ball much better, his positioning is better, and he is not a ghost for 80% of the time he is on the pitch

some italian paper states that Inter is about to terminate his loan contract right away :/ i hope this is not true. as much as i didn’t want Osvaldo back in the summer, he is basicly our most complete forward right now – who sits on the bench for no reason. it is either Mancini has problems with him, or we just don’t want to buy him in the summer because we have no budget or whatsoever
anyway. an out of form Palacio, an inconsistent Icardi and 2 young kids won’t be enough for 3rd place, not even with the support of the Podolski-Kovacic-Shaqiri trio

Friends, you are looking at this guy from the point of view of the type of player he is (skills). But, you are not thinking of the human factor. This guy is a destructive force. Nobody has the right to react the way he did against Icardi during the Rube game. In my 20+ years watching professional soccer, I think I had never seen something like that. Not even Ibra ever did what Osvaldo did, which was basically charge Icardi to punch him or something. God knows what he had in his mind. Unfortunately, this type of players never settle in any team, Osvaldo is a world-trotter he has been in so many teams but none seems to like him, that tells you a lot. This thing with Icardi will grow into something else because of Jealousy. So, it we must pick one, I would pick Icardy hands down. Just think of the resale value of each player. We are in a rebuilding phase so we can’t afford to have any bad blood in the dressing room.
let’s put it in another way: Osvaldo was a starter, he got injured. Mazzarri leaves, Mancio comes, he doesn’t play from that moment. then at Turin he gets the chance, he could have decided the game vs Juventus(!) if he gets a pass from the ego-driven boy who just equalized 20 minutes ago

I agree with the resale point, that is the only reason Icardi plays ahead of Osvaldo, they are lifting and maintaining his price because there is no chance in hell that Icardi is a better player at this moment. Maybe he will grow and be better in the future but now? No.

Vultures 😀 I doubt we’d let him go. Besides Icardi apologized immediately for his selfishness, Osvaldo hasn’t shown his face lately but I doubt he’s still that mad. He has been quite good in Inter, I hope we keep him.
Fine him heavily for his demeanor and make him sign a paper of unacceptable conduct. If he has lashed out at Grande Mancini then he should apologize immediately, publicly and/or in front of the whole team, if he refuses to do that then let him go. If he wants to leave then let him go, Roma , Juve and Southampton offloaded him for a reason, he should be thanking us for giving him a chance after his history in a top flight club not causing a rift in the locker room. BTW SHAQORGASM!!!! 😀
