Tuttomercatoweb spoke to to Taarabt about his possible departure from Loftus Road.
“My agent is working to find a solution. I’ve always said that I would like a change of air and I repeat that. There have been contacts with some Italian clubs, we’ll see. My goal is still to fight for a place in Europe.”
The attacker revealed the contacts have been most prevalent with Inter’s Roberto Mancini:
“Yes, there’s been contact. They are also sure of my physical condition, but I think we’re in the midst of negotiations that involve other players.
This comment came in response to Harry Redknapp’s claims that the player is “the worst professional” he’s ever worked with, that he’s “three stone overweight” and that he simply does not want to train. Taarabt took the above picture in response.
“The situation is complicated,” said the 25 year-old. “All I can say is that I’ve trained a lot, even by myself because I don’t play very often. I’m fine, and I want to fight for something important.”

Editor’s note: I think it’s important to note his revelation confirms the rumors of a swap deal on the cards between M’Vila to QPR and Taarabt to Inter. Another interesting note is that Mancini has contacted the player. We know how convincing Mancini has been thus far.

At this point M’Villa is the only trusted backup defensive midfielder to Medel. So it will be stupid to let him go. Taarbat is just another Belfodil!
I think Kuz is more trusted than M’Vila.
Kuz has been mostly deployed as a central midfielder instead of a defensive midfielder. The only game which Mancini tried to use him as a DM turned out to be a disaster!
Agreed. Kuz is a good player, but I think we should look for a better midfielder very soon.

did anyone of you guys watch Taraabt play for Milan last season? he was excellent in a 4-2-3-1 formation. He’s got pace, can dribble and he can do something that Palacio has not done well this season and that is SCORE GOALS !! In the case of Belfodil he did something that ruined his career – HE JOINED INTER !
