It seems as if Inter have pulled out the stops and have reached an agreement with Dinamo Zagreb for the acquisition of Marcelo Brozovic. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Croatian international will have his medical tests tomorrow and sign his contract. The attacking midfielder will sign a 4 year contract with the Nerazzurri. First, Brozovic will join Inter on an 18 month loan for 3 million euros. The Nerazurri will make the move permanent next summer for 5 million euros.

He reminds me of Pirlo in his early career at Inter. Still a raw talent but he has a great potential to become a world class deep playmaker in the next 2-3 years. Great job Ausilio!

Well Done Mr.Piero Ausilio!!! One of the best mercato we’ve ever had i think. I hope he can bring a strong anchor man like lucas leiva, Thiago motta, or the high level player like nemanja matic, victor wanyama, alex song, or luiz gustavo (too hard to get i think) cause medel just as good as substitute player, he cant be our 1st team player. I still hope we can get 1 or 2 quality fullbacks in this mercato too.

Lots of croats speak of him as the second best player in their league after recently departed Kramaric. Also, there were major clubs from BPL and other strong leagues seriously contesting for him, thats why most of us are quite surprised that Ausillio managed to pull it off(even thou he has been brilliant this transfer windows). Susic, one of our recent targets is nowhere good as Brozovic. He is somewhat like Kovačič, with less speed and agility but a bit better defensive wise. While Kovačič makes the plays, he can read the game a bit better and maybe bring our midfield some security.

I think his best position would be somewhat like when Guarin had that great match next to Medel. A semi-holding midfielder that links play from defenders to Kovačič and wingers.

I think Guarin will have to be sold if we want to balance all the recent purchases. But saying is one thing, actually getting someone to buy him is another. I would much rather see Guarin + Kuzmanovič + Krhin + Pereira sold than keeping 4 of them and selling Icardi or someone crucial.
Yes mate. So far we only shopping player not sell player and the Account must be balance so we must sacrifice someone or some people mate. Maybe if Brozovic adapt quickly that can be happen. Considering some club has offering to get Guarin and Kuz.

Wouldn’t exactly say keep track, but I do indeed watch games sometimes and talk about it with few of my Croatian friends. IMO most interesting thing about your league are young prospects, I mean lately the croatian talents are unbelievable: Kovačič, Jedvaj, Halilovič, Vrsaljko, Kramaric, Brozovic,…
They are good and more are coming. By the way thanks for Matjaz Kek 😉 He has done wonders with Rijeka and is probably the main reason why Kramaric departed for the Premier League.
Yeah Matjaž Kek is really doing great stuff for Rijeka. A big mistake by managment of our national squad to let him go, he got us to world cup and a 94. minute goal by USA was the only reason we didn’t even go to last 16 in 2010 WC. We would have qualified for 2014 IMO as well if we had him. Too bad :(.
