After closing the Brozovic deal, Inter need place for him to play in the midfield with Zdravko Kuzmanovic the most likely option to leave now after Mbaye and M’Vila with many suitors from the Bundesliga.
According to Gian Luca Di Marzio, Hamburg are the most serious about the midfielder, with an official offer for Inter to evaluate and accept in the coming hours.

Kuz is a decent subtitute. His only problem is stamina and concentration. But if we need to sell him so be it.. as long as it’s not a loan or sorta.. a permanent transfer 5-7m.

A true fighter on the field and someone who chosed to stay on and fight for his place last summer and this season has showed he is a fine midfielder – he has heart and is a fighter, but simply is not Inter material for the long run!
I respect the fact that he’s a fighter, mate. But he’s clearly not within a mile of being a good player.
And I think he stayed because he couldn’t be sold for decent money. Now that he can be sold and is in a patch of good form (which I don’t think will last forever, this is why I think we have to sell quickly) – we should cash in.
We’ve got Brozovic, Hernanes, Guarin here.
I’d give Osvaldo to Milan and try to force a swap with De Jong (I’m sure Mancini can work his magic again, De Jong being one of his ex players). De Jong is a BEAST, perhaps even better than Medel.
Then we’ve got Medel and De Jong as destroyers, Kovacic and Hernanes as playmakers and Brozovic and Guarin as box-to-box mids.

De Jong and Medel together in mid would kick some serious butt!! But would prefor a “regista” type of def. midfielder to help Kova out in attack.
They’d rarely play together, though, except in circumstances when you need to kick serious butt in midfield in order to win (against a team that’s too creative in midfield and needs to be cut down, like Barcelona used to be for example).
Anyway, the idea presented in the 4-3-3 above is to have Kovacic as a regista (or more like a roaming playmaker who can run into spaces with the ball) and have Brozovic help him out offensively (to be honest, De Jong’s passing range is also great for a destroyer).

There are others who deserve to be sold before Obi. Like Krhin. Obi can be useful as a backup. Obi hasn’t had opportunities. The midfield is too crowded. Until we get another winger/switch formation, we should not sell Obi.
I disagree—Guarin is the ultimate impact sub. he’s so unpredictable he can turn a game on its head or else shoot some birds out of the sky. Kuz offers stability but he can’t influence the game so much on his best day
