The front pages of the Italian sports papers are beginning to stream out and the stories related to Inter read Rhodolfo and Cassano.
Gazetta dello Sport: “Inter shoot for 4th: take Rhodolfo, want Richards, Cassano an idea.”
Corriere dello Sport: “Inter, Murillo only in July. Offer to Rhodolfo.”
Tuttosport: “Cassano wants a return for Inter”

Editors Note: There are some things that all Interisti can agree on, such as Zanetti’s legendary place with the club. However some things tend to separate us Nerazzurri supporters and one of the most divisive is certainly Antonio Cassano. Fantonio is currently without a club and some are calling for him to make a u-turn back to the club he supported as a child. What do you think? Can he still make magic for Inter or have his best days passed? Let us know in the comments below.

I prefer him over palacio. He can be a sub for mauro
Yes cassano
I can’t believe that Cassano is even an option. I think he is old and his best days have passed, unfortunately. Inter is starting to become a club that signs anyone that ‘would love to play for the nerazzurri’. Focus should be on the players we’ve already signed and to strenghten positions where we are weak. Cassano isn’t better than neither Palacio nor Icardi. Please do not embarass our black and blue shirt with signing of living corpses.
im better than palacio so cassano is the god for him
Question is, if Cassano joins then who is getting benched?
Mancin want to play 4-2-3-1, where do you think he will play Cassano? On Kovacic’s position? If so then fuck Cassano,
I hope if he come he gonna be our super sub, when we facing ultra defensive team, we put him rather some wide player who will try make a decent cross for 90 min
kova has been mediocre. You guys have to stop protecting him
One thing that I can say: Class is permanent!
Yeahhh…we need fanantonio !!
Its because the stupid Branca and Mazzari we lose him for poor belfodil 🙁
Cassano is a genius, he could give versatility to our attack – but reading that Roma is about to sign Luiz Adriano for 2+8m option from Shakhtar makes me mad
anyway, we have like 10-15% chance to reach 3rd place, but if we won’t sign another striker this goes down to 0%

He is like Pirlo, safe with the ball and creates space for others…..we lack such a player upfront….think having cassano, shaqiri, kovacic, Icardi with Poldi and Palacio as Backups….now we are talking! Yes to cassano but under agreement of a 6 months contract with a Option for more if it works out for him till end of this season…..
if we are not blind he will be our now
if we are not blind he will be our now
Please sign him (providing the cost is reasonable) Cassano would not necessarily be a key player, but still has qualities that would make him the perfect joker in games. Forza Pazza Inter ..

Love to see Cassano back!

Cassano can be subs. Neven subotic for cb..hahah

He is a finished article. I think we should have patience and rather give a chance for Bonazzoli to improve. But, if the club want an instant result, why don’t they take Zanetti out of retirement. He has a big influence and can stabilize the dressing room, and still a better full back than our current full backs right now.
Take him back, free transfer and he’ll take a pay cut for his favourite team. Off the bench last 20 minutes will be great!
depends on Cassano’s salary ….
He had expensive wage, doesn’t track back to help defence but his creativity is a good addition for us, especially if our opponent park the bus.
cassano, old, expensive salary, tend to lazy, and still might blowin sometime, nuff said
He can provide us more assists than podolski, palacio, shaqiri and kovacic all together. Our only striker needs ball on the plate to score. Nuff said…
well, based on FACTS, you don’t have ground for your assumption.
cassano statistic this season:
– 19 match, 5 goals, 2 assists
Podolski:
– 18 match (including 4 Seria A & 1 Coppa), 3 goals, 2 ASSISTS (1 in Serie A & 1 in Coppa)
Shaqiri:
– 18 match (1 Serie A & 1 Coppa), 3 goals (1 Coppa), 2 assist
Palacio:
– 20 match, 2 goals, 5 ASSISTS (4 in Serie A)
Kovacic:
– 24 match, 7 GOALS, 2 assists (both in Serie A)
NUFF SAID!!! LOL

Cassano was the focal point in the parma attack, he was used as a number 9; to hold up the ball and make that defense splitting pass. At inter he would be a number 10, which, given his age and skill, is the best position for him. He is too old to play on the wings, and not reliable or powerful enough to play next to medel. He could also be a second striker in a 4-1-3-2 formation; as as uper sub if need be.
Antonio has the perfect blend of cockiness, technique and vision to make the difference in a team that is now full of attacking talent. I personally like the guy, when at inter last time, inter scroed more from corners and free kicks since probably sneider or zlatan. The board have taken a huge gamble this jan on us making something out of this season, and with hernanes not really shinning, and kova’s immaturity at times, he would add more depth. Only issues are attitude and wages/fees. If he is willing to be a sub in most games, not create friction or drama, and realise this might be his last big project, then i’d welcome him back with pablo leaving.
it’s a possibility that he can do what you guys expected.
but then again, I already mentioned his ‘problems’.
he’s quite old, 33 this years. and at this age region, a player performances could drop easily in a blink of an eye. look at Palacio, last season he still played crucial figure, but now?
Palacio is hard worker and he’s easily dropped like that. imagine what could happen to ‘lazy’ player?
and then you already mentioned his attitude. he wont accept being a subs. he always create problems when he don’t get his playing time (well, similar to Osvaldo, it’s just a nature of that kind of player).
and it all lead to the last problem, his wage is huge for our standard, and with all those problems comparing to what he can give, simply not worth enough.
Cassano is class player just like Pirlo and totti he dont have to run much but palacio must because he lacks technique when did you Pirlo was sprinting around he didnt even with 27 years

they dont play in the same team so how are those stats comparable? everybody knows we have no one to create. nobody on our current team comes even close. he would be the PERFECT solution when we face the problem of over defensive teams like torino. with our current team we couldnt have got through in a million years.

Looking at how toothless inter were in the game against Empoli and Torino, it appears that we have problem when the opponents defended throughout the whole game. Just getting players from the wings wont help esp we have so many injuries in that department. Icardi needs some service from midfield and a Cassano could definitely give him more balls inside the box. I like Palacio, but just getting him running to the byline before crossing into the box when nobody’s there is not helping. Cassano would definitely give an extra dimension in attack and should we lose Osvaldo, i’ll take Cassano.

Cassano will gives easier job to palacio if he joins to inter.

I am a huge Cassano fan. I love watching him play for italy, love that he is an interista and love that he played for us and was one of our best players. Then Mazzarri shows up an he’s gone. I never wanted him to leave. I love his creativity on the pitch and even tho he’s not as fast as he used to be he is smart. and that can be worth a lot on the pitch right now. FORZA CASSANO!! hope i get to re-use my cassano jersey from a couple years ago!
