Roberto Mancini spoke to Mediaset Premium after the defeat against Sassuolo.
“This is football. You have to play and try to score even against teams that are less “good”. We were a bit incomplete today, but I can’t say that we deserved to lose. We need to continue to play as we do, the boys are giving their everything and the fans have to help us out. Today we were unlucky, We payed for our misstakes, and we have to accept that and move on”.
Mancini got the question about the Vidic substitute:
“At first I chose him but then we wanted to take out Donkor instead, It doesn’t change anything a defender still got substituted”. Icardi and the fans? ”

In my opinion, considering the players that we have this is our best formation and players: – this is when we have a fully fit team in a few weeks.
I just dont see Kova out on the wing. Shaq is better out there and kova is better at finding passes from the center. The personnel however is the best we have I’d say.
Side note: what is Brozovic’s position? CDM/CM/CAM I feel like he’d be a better option than Kuz but I dont know enough about him to say.
That is Kova’s best and preferred position. His best games for inter were form exactly that position running from the midfield at the defenders. He needs space to operate.
Not quite sure about brozovic. To be honest, i do not share most inter fan’s optimism about him.The clips i have seen of him are decent, but not anything spectacular. About his preferred position, he said he likes playing as a cdm, but most of his highlights are goals/ assists so i’m not sure, again.
As for kuzmanovic; He may not be the best midfielder around, however, he has been one of the most consistent performers this season. You know exactly what you are getting with him, nothing more, nothing less.
kova has been horrible lately just like hernanes so why would you start them? kuz is average at best and he cant defend for shit. that midfield is just… wrong, and ugly

Sometimes i think that Mancini it’s delusional, when he talks like that. We don’t playing shit and that’s for so many games, what the hell he’s talking about? It’s so hard to understand, that when you lose game after game, that something doesn’t work and you have to make changes? This system doesn’t work, Podolski, Shaqiri and Palacio are not wingers, Medel it’s total flop, Guarin as always one game plays good, then five is terrible, Kovacic it’s not trequarista, etc. And when he decided to switch with three at the back, why don’t sub Ranocchia, but Vidic, who was our best defender until then? Stop with the fucking exuses and do something, bench Palacio for start. Then bench Kova for a few games and talk about his self-confidence, he is not showing anything on the pitch. He had two chances to score today, instead of shooting he played a back pass both times. Bench Guarin and Podolski to, they are not showing anything either. Give a chance to Bona and Puškaš, we are already losing points everywhere, so there wouldn’t be no harm in giving our youngsters a chance.

A chain is as strong as its weakest link. We play like we’re Barca. Lots of passes and possession. Trying to bring a lot of players up front and force our way in. I can get that, it’s not a bad tactic. But when you pass the ball to Guarin or the Dodo bird and they fuck up right away you have a whole pitch to cover back. We should rely on Kovacic and Shaqiri’s explosive speed and technique and produce fast and direct attacks.
I am agree with you but when we haven’t good players what must we do ? We should used them better . Manco need iniesta or xavi for play like barca but when we Haven’t them , absolutely we can’t plays like them . with 3 mans in Midfield we can look the games . I think Kovacic is not right man for behind the Forwards.

Mentality is the biggest problem imo. Kovacic has the skills to shred most defenses in half, and played like a little kid today. And I’m not even sure what his role is. Besides passing the ball back to the defenders. I don’t think we lack quality, but most of the players play on 20 percent of their potential. No self-confidence, no guts. Mancio needs to work on this above all.
We need a new captain. I’d rather see Icardi with the armband. Even if we will most likely lose him in the summer. At least he has the balls to play when things don’t go well.

Flop after flop and shaky performances, panic, fear in his eyes and sometimes I even wonder if there’s an idea in his head while getting overtaken by someone. I’ve always liked him and I’m always the last to criticize him, but he’s not fit for a captain. Zanetti has never been the best player in the squad. But he has always been the most stable and reliable and consistent one. Year after year. Rano isn’t consistent enough to even be in the starting team.
