Evra has done well from what I have heard and seen, the only knock against him being his age. Vidic has shown glimpses but needs a solid partner with him (literally anyone but Rano) and Poldi hasnt even had 10 games yet haha. The sample size for him isnt big enough. As for Cole, he has been poor. But the only thing they all have in common the truly goes against them is age as you said. Gervinho has succeeded in the Serie A so far (albeit hes younger than the rest), Tevez has done well, so diamonds can be found in the rough. Overall in reference to this team, they just need time and patience.

Mazzarri Inter is falling apart ! Ever Since Ausilio took over for
Branca, he has taken a 5th place team back to the Roy Hodgson era to 13
th place !! Under Branca, inter never was this bad. There is alot of
shame because inter spends money yet they are in a provincial position
in the Serie A Standings! Mazarri was 30 % more effective than Mancini.
In 11 games under Mazzarri inter let in 13 goals yet under Mancini they
let in 17 goals in 10 games and Mazzarri averaged 1.45 points per game
while Mancini only averages 1 point per game! The players are to blame.
Icardi called you guys all “pieces of shit” but mancini has no choice
but to play him otherwise you are stuck with Podolski, Puscas and
Palacio as strikers who have a combined serie a goals of 2 !!!! This is
your mighty Inter today in 13th place , Good work Ausilio and Mancini
