There are reports that Sunderland want to sign on-loan Argentine Ricky Alvarez on a permanent deal.
The English club have a right of redemption on the midfielder and are thought to be ready to complete a deal if the price is right despite the player struggling to hold his place in the first eleven since picking up a knee injury early in the season.
TMW have reported that Sunderland will have talks with Inter in the next few days.
The report also says that Inter want 8.5M Euro for Alvarez but Sunderland are hoping to do a deal for 7M Euro as they think Inter’s valuation of the player is slightly high.
Robert Mancini is looking to rebuild Inter in the Summer but the club need to sell players because of Financial Fair Play and Alvarez could be one of those that will be allowed to leave.

11m just like the deal says or no deal
wtf? I thought the deal was set for obligation to purchase at 11 million if they not relegate?
Still way better than the deadman Palacio and Poldi as a second striker or winger.
Wasn’t the deal obligation to buy SET AT 11 million? How did we end up at 7?
different currency
What? The deal was set at 11 million € and now they want him for 7 million €.
8.5 is a fair price
we buy him for a little more than 12 mln euros and now we will sell him for 7????no fucking way!!!
He is way better than Podolski…..hate to see him go
same here bro
8.5 is a good price. He was good for us, they can’t get him for 7, that’s a price of Schelotto ffs.
I thought they had to buy him if they remain in the epl
I think you are right. I guess they are trying to close the deal now, to see if they can get a discount. 🙂
