Wolfsburg coach Dieter Hecking has been speaking in his post match press conference after the Germans came from a goal down to win 3-1 in tonight’s Europa League last 16 1st leg match.
“I compliment my team even if we didn’t do very well in the first half. The second half was different, we found our rhythm and took control of the game and created many scoring opportunities. We weren’t accurate enough in front of goal and there are some regrets over that but I have to say we’ve improved and ended the match on top.”
“Inter didn’t play badly especially in the first half. The work still has to be done in the second leg but we are good on the counter and must wait for the right moment to strike. We are in a good position with this 3-1 result.”

What the heck, we wont be Inter if we dont make it hard for our self!
I suspect they will become even complacent in 2nd leg, and we will show our real quality.
PS: But Carrizzo has to play his last game this season already.
Yeah you are in a fucking good position due to Mancio’s funny tactical mistakes
hey hecking, what the heck are you talking about? don’t you ever heard that over confident is killing you slowly? well i hope that it’s coming to haunt you at the return leg.
Interisti, I know we’ve all suffered for the last 3-4 years seeing Inter play like a mid table team. Today we lost against a team that is slightly better than us, and to be honest, it could have been worse. But what I saw today in the first half gave me a little bit of hope. Inter was playing a good game and the team was not letting Wolfsburg get comfortable at all. Even though Wolfsburg had clear chances to finish us completely, all three goals were preventable and were mistakes from our keeper and the subs didn’t make sense at all. Inter is the underdog in this fixture, but I think that if Inter play like they did in the first half, there is a chance. We have to stick together and show our full support. Let’s keep our head up and hope for the best. We are going to play at Home, so there is a chance. Don’t think it is impossible. If there is a time that Inter needs our support the most, this is it.
I agree… I blame mancini picking carrizo and his awful subs… but he is rebuilding our team… so I guess mancini is a good coach to rebuild a team, but when it comes to competition, he isn’t the best…
Fuck off kid
