With the arrival of Mancini at Inter their style of play has changed and possession has become an important aspect of their game. In a recent ranking by Huawei Team Ranking, Inter ended up amongst the top teams in Europe in terms of maintaining possession in matches. Bayern Munich is ranked first with their Tiki Taka style imposed by Guardiola but the Nerazzurri are not far behind. Inter find themselves tied in seventh with Real Madrid, Juventus and Marseille with an average of 59% of possession. The only team who holds more of the ball are Roma with an average of 62%.

yea it’s mean nothing
i just need highest point at least in italy,
Our players aren’t very good technically to play such a very high possession game
Now all we need is another striker next to Icardi!!!!
its useless every time the opponent has more shots on goal than us, more goals too!!! whats the point in that system pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, cross goes nowhere….pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, cross goes out of bound….pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, lost ball and so on and so on……
aaand it’s carrizo’s turn to pass, well shit.
too high possession sometimes means youre too slow to do anything
Another example of why the possession strategy sucks…
If all the possession is in our half it is pointless…
i think this possession bs started by mazzari not mancini
Why is everyone blaming Mazzari for everything? Mancini has been here for 4 months and little has changed. We’ll judge in a year.
no, i just express my feeling about this bull talking about our possession percentage while we are playing like shit and even couldn’t manage to beat shit teams like ceseana
be patient dude, remember juve got a draw 2-2 with cesena too
Actually in some matches you find inter playing beyond their own half while holding possession but they are not able to push in the 18 yard box at the right moment, its just from a few recent matches that we see glimpses of intelligent football but not decisive in front of goal.
