Today rumours about a possible return for Massimo Moratti were spread by the Gazzetta dello sport but Moratti denied this straight away to SportMediaSet:
“There is no truth in this rumour. Thohir has everything needed to do well.”
The Gazzetta also published a couple of quotes from Moratti on their website:
“I support Erick Thohir and hope he does well, he has all the possibilities to do well. I can miss Inter as a fan, I’d like to have more satisfactions, but I think that Thohir will make this happen. Though there is no possibility that I will buy the club back.”

Thohir needs to spend, this winter he didn’t spend anything.. all the players arrived on loan with option to buy.. so we are only paying for their salaries… we need to buy HIGH QUALITY

With moratti we used to be better. He knew how to motivate players plus has had huge respect over the Serie A. Its not all about money.
Moratti was all about the money man. Thohir is not, he is all about building the club with proper management and foundations. Whenever inter were struggling, Moratti would just take a huge sum if money and spend it on any player. Now with Thohir I believe we are much smarter business wise. The results will come trust me, we just have to give him some time.
Moratti is a great president, but let’s not delude ourselves into believing that he did anything more than throw money at the team every year.
