Mancini, Icardi, Shaqiri and Kovacic. This is the “mantra” that was repeated over and over during the poll that FcInternews had on their Facebook page where they asked their readers who should coach Inter and which players would be the key ones to keep for next season. The ones with the highest votes were Mancini, Inter’s bomber up front, the newly arrived Swiss International and the Croatian fan favorite in midfield. Santon and Brozovic were also popular, something that shows that even though the results have yet to arrive the fans are still happy with the January transfers.
Mihajlovic got 3 votes as coach for next year, and just one for Bielsa. Medel and Guarin were not popular, neither was Handanovic. D’Ambrosio, Palacio and Bardi each got one vote. Quite telling that none of the central defenders (captain Ranocchia, Juan Jesus, Andreolli and Vidic) all got zero votes. Just like Hernanes and Podolski who have been disappointing at Inter.
Here are the results from the poll when on their website (over 2200 voters): 27,12% Mancini, 19,98% Shaqiri, 19,39% Icardi, 12,34% Kovacic, 2,71% Santon and the rest were below that.
