In England, the ‘Manchester Evening News’ has talked about the latest news regarding the possible transfer of Manchester City’s Yaya Toure to Inter.
The local Manchester newspaper emphasizes that the current situation between UEFA and Inter could undermine any move for the Ivorian.
For failure to comply with Financial Fair Play, UEFA will sanction the Nerazzurri, and if the fine was too high Inter could not afford a financial transaction such as Toure.

To think that Moratti worked so hard for the FFP rules to apply and then did nothing to prepare us for it. And now it comes to bite us on the ass. The rules only help the rich clubs at this point anyway. So the best option for Thohir is to inject money into the club and bring us back at the top.
explain to me why FFP matters to us if we don’t make the Europa league next season? what’s to stop Thohir injecting cash and paying the necessary fine just like PSG have been doing?
FFP works on 3 year cycles. If we post a loss of €30 million over 3 seasons we will get sanctioned.
Meh. Would have been a very expensive buy
GO FOR ALLAN!
Can someone PLEASE explain me, why Inter have FFP from UEFA ??
Why cant we spend a lot ?? Every X club in Premier League can afford a player for cca 20.000.000€, that is a big cake for us.. We didnt spend that money a long time ago.. And we Inter we have fairplay limit ? For last 5 years we didnt spent almost nothing.. And then come some club like PSG, MAN CITY, REAL, BARCA, M UNITED,…. And buy every year a player for at least 50.000.000€.. We didnt spent that money in last 5 years ?? And they still buying.. What about us ??
We earned nothing also. Less than, for example Everton. Low income- no money to spend on transfers. Simple as that…
Agree, but the comparison with Everton is not good. Everton payed almost 40 millions to Chealse for Lukaku. Thanks to the New TV Deal, the last team from EPL would earn for TV Rights as Much as Juve in Italy. FFP at that piont is not “fair” for other countries, EPL will get the better players because no one will pay those transfers and those wages
Blame all our troubles to the weak FIGC for continue to falling to provide any clear cut ideas and solution to bring Seria A back top. With all the red tapes issue and lack of support for local clubs, the league continues to suffer.
well said
Meh P$G broke that rule in the summer you can only spend 40 million euros… goes and buys David Luiz for 50…. lol FFP is a joke
Yep and they got punished for it.
With what???? Cause they’re still planning on purchasing players in the aummer
Not having a stadium and low income and failing to break even … the 100 debt doesn’t help as well
You want to know why those clubs spend so much and we don’t? I posted this a while ago and explains a lot.:
“Look the the sponsorship deals that Man United has. €104
Million per YEAR for the next 10 years with their new Adidas
contract! Chevrolet, another €65 Million per year as their main sponsor.
We only get €20 million euro per year from Nike and around another €13-14
Million from Pirelli. From each clubs two main sponsors there is an
incredible €135 million per year in commercial revenue. That
difference is almost our entire revenue for a year!”
Using Manchester United as the example, many of the other clubs you listed have ludicrous sponsorship deals. Inter simply doesn’t have the money to make outlandish purchases.
Now look at the TV deal that was signed in February for the Premier league for 2016-2019. Almost €7 BILLION Euro over 3 seasons (~€2.3 per season)!!! Each televised match will bring in approximately €13 million Euro for an English club.
Serie A’s television rights are worth less than half of that at ~€934 million per season.
Inter and Serie A simply cannot compete financially at this present moment.
