Argentina coach Gerardo Martino has called up 30 players to his pre tournament squad ahead of this year’s Copa America.
The list includes no Inter players, not even Mauro Icardi who has had such a great season. Martino has instead called up Carlos Tevez who missed out at the last World Cup.

Higuain is better than Icardi.
I hope Icardi see this as a Wake up call. He is not there yet. He needs to focus on his career and work hard to really become one of the top strikers in the world. He needs to stop the Diva behaviour and just sign the extension with Inter.
Yeah right he has to understand that regardless of having scored 18 goals in Serie A he’s far from being in the big dogs list. So he should sign that and be humble 100 percent cause that’s the only way he will achieve success.
I dont get what so “diva” about icardi’s behaviour? i mean he is always show up in training, i never heard he is partying the night before match, i think the only time he ever got in trouble are when some random fans throw back his shirt after match.. he will sign the extension if inter give him the salary he deserved.. that is as much as the highest paid player in inter right now.. cause he is with handa are the best player in inter..

Messi, Aguero, Tevez, Lavezzi, Higuain, palacio, icardi, dybala.
And with Messi in the team the formation usually relies on one striker and wingers.
Icardi is a great player but when you have Aguero it’s a different case.
Higuain is so overprised. Icardi over him any day. And Dybala over Lavezzi.
Icardi should be replacing lavezzi and he will fight position with higuain. too much winger on this team. At least 2 strikers.

Dybala wasn’t called up either, Argentina has too many good proven strikers ATM. Just look at that offensive force: Messi, Tevez, Aguero and then Higuain/Lavezzi as backup(maybe Icardi could replace Lavezzi in a year or two, if he plays better than Dybala).
Lavezzi and Icardi are different players.
Dybala would replace Lavezzi.

Juve’s full backs are good enough to work as both wingers and defenders. Plus, 2 of their 3 cms drift out wide and cross in the ball. No matter what formation a team uses, they will always employ some form of wing play.
Besides, you didn’t get my point. Having (like I said) absolutely no wingers doesn’t make sense. At least leave players like Lavezzi on the bench to have more options. Dybala is more versatile than Icardi. He could play as striker, winger and even a cam.
