The former Bologna and Brescia-striker Kubilay Türkyilmaz critisizes Roberto Mancini’s choice not to play with Xherdan Shaqiri:
“That Shaqiri sits on the bench at Inter is a mystery. That he is on the bench for 90 minutes against Lazio is scandalous. Lazio played with nine men for an hour and it was a perfect game for Shaqiri. What does Mancini do? He puts Yuto Nagatomo on, a player who can’t win a 1 vs 1 duel, and in halftime he put Lukas Podolski on. The German has the mobility of an elephant, a world champion who missed two great chances in a strange way. I doubted him from the beginning. Everyone is happy with Shaqiri at Inter, even Mancini says he is the player for the future. Then make him play? It never happens.”
Türkyilmaz tries to explain the situation:
“Either the two have a personal problem, or Mancini prefers to let the players that will be sold prove themselves. My suggestion? Keep calm because the new season is upon is. And there the situation will be very different.”

I personally think shaqiri is not playing cause bcz the team is winning with Hernanes as a CAM, and we have to play 4-3-1-2 cause our players are in capable of playing any other formation, hopefully next season we play a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3

Mancini prefers to let the players that will be sold prove themselves. This is probably the reason. Cuz mancini isn’t that stupid. Everybody knows shaq santon amd kova are best players alongside icardi handa and hernanes
I don’t have a problem with the lazio game as we won with hernanes. Would shaq have scored or would we have won were it not for Hernanes, we don’t really know. But i do agree that Shaqiri should be playing alot more. Just like Santon and Kova should be playing as well.
