During Ivan Cordoba’s memorial match, former Inter president Massimo Moratti spoke to reporters about Inter’s treble winning team and the club’s current situation:
“A great quality that these lads [Inter treble winning team] had was their ability to always help each other and work hard. It is great to see them again.”
The legendary president moved on to talk about Inter’s recent defeat to Juventus:
“It went well, but the team needed a bit more grit and determination.”
Moratti then responded to Sacchi’s comments about Inter’s treble wining team being a ‘shame’:
Sacchi can say what he wants, even if he is going to say something stupid.”
Milan president Silvio Berlusconi blasted Erick Thohir, and the former Inter patron replied:
“Even these statments are wrong. Then again, everyone can say what they want. Has Thohir strengthened Inter? Yes, without a doubt.”
Moratti was then asked about Mancini’s transfer plans:
“It will depend on Mancini. Was Dybala close to my Inter? I do not remember. We were close to signing many players, maybe Dybala was one of them.”

Thohir is a very ideal president. It seems to me that he has a five year plan or so to strengthen inter financially – heck if it wasn’t for FFP we would have one heck of a transfer market planned
