Gazzetta dello Sport report on Samir Handanovic’s contract renewal.
The paper writes that an agreement has been found at €2.7 million, reaching €3 million with bonuses. The signature extending his contract until 2019 would come after the upcoming international games.
There is a catch in the deal however; if Inter find an alternative, and a Champions League team come knocking that Handanovic approves of, he could still leave before the end of the summer.

Just extend his contract now, whether we sell him before the end of the summer or not that is a different deal. If we renew him; we can make more money from him in case of a sale, hopefully buy a decent replacement (Perin maybe) and end up with some extra cash.
i think it’s obvious, by extending his contract his market price goes up (at least 25m)
it really is a win-win, either Inter makes good money by selling him, or Handa will be happy with his new contract, and the keeper-problem solved for the next 4-5 years
I’m completely fine with him staying, he’s a fantastic keeper.
Interest in him isn’t as high as one would imagine it would be after his performances, so it might as well happen that we keep him.
In case he does leave, I hope we have a very good plan on who to get to replace him.
