Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has openly challenged the club in an interview for Slovakian media outlet ‘Aktualne’ in which the 30 year old expressed his disappointment with the English side’s offer of a contract renewal.
Here are the Slovakian international’s words:
“It’s unacceptable. Offers of that kind are made to players that are older than me or have had problems with injury. For this reason I haven’t signed it. I still have a year here and there have been rumours of interest from other teams. We’ll see what happens.”
The defender has been linked to Inter in recent weeks and they will be keeping an eye on the player’s situation.

He’s good. Very good.
I dont know if he’s the man or not, but he’s definitely more realistic than benatia. From what I heard about him, he’s lack of leadership, maturity, and not very good in posession football and high defensive line which Mancini used. Anyway, he’s definitely an upgrade from giraffe.
now this is a player i want . the way liverpool and inter play are so similar , and he knows how to play in mancini’s system since he basically played like this for the past few years . also at 30 he has a few years ahead of him .and he’s physicality is something we lack
big …..NO!
