FIFA agent Gianfranco Cicchetti has been interviewed by IlSussidiario.net and has offered his thoughts on Inter target Guido Carrillo who plays for Estudiantes.
Here are Cicchetti’s words:
“The talks will be very simple as Estudiantes president Juan Veron is a former Inter star and a friend of Mancini, he is pushing the boy towards Inter.”
“Carrillo is physically strong but perhaps less technical than Milito. He reminds me of the Croatian Mandzukic. He’s a striker who’s strong in the air and has good fundamentals as well as sacrificing a lot for the team, exactly what Mancini likes.”
“He’s ready for Serie A, he’s 24 years old and has cut his teeth in a tough league like Argentina.”
“Is he the back up Icardi? Exactly but in certain games they could play together because their features are similar but complementary in some respects.”
“Cost? Around 6M Euro, a figure that Inter could afford and in my opinion would be money well spent. In the future it could be a lot more.”

we should instead go for proven stars in europe. Lamela and Jovetic though injury prone can be good options as both are not settled in their respective clubs and both were the top players in Serie A. For defense I dream of Dragovic but not sure if its possible. We should also give another chance to Lorenzo Cristeig who had a decent season for Cagliari and he is young and very talented.

From Pedro, jovetic…………..finally to cirillo. From Yaya, kodongbia………..finally to Melo. I think this condition is inevitable with current condition. I think it is a time to trust our youngster. In the middle we should buy Thiago, gnoukuri is good prospect for deputy of Medel i definetly say “NO” to Melo. Gaston Ramirez can be an Alternative who is cheaper and already experienced in Seria A, he can be deputy of Thiago (Thiago is rather an injury prone). I don’t know if we can push our luck to get pkayer like Cabaye then it is a jackpot. We should invest more in defense because overall all our CB is poor quality. Next priority is Fullback. And for Attacking dept names like Perisic and Salah are feasible big names we can obtain. I will not exclude possibility to get Pato or Thauvin for 8 – 10 Mil. Euro. The last is post player to make fierce competition in Goal Poacher therefore if Icardi has a day off he can become alternative. I dream of Lukaku but I think of Vietto as feasible option then Cirilllo is last option (his playstyle is similiar like J. Cruz).

yes, his release clause is somewhere around 20m. but then again, Inter needs another first-team quality striker. if management was serious about Dybala, it’s not impossible – not to mention their qualities and skills are very similar

what does vietto offer that falque doesn’t ? falque scored more , assisted more , creates more chances for teammates all that at half the price . we want proven players .
they don’t even play at the same position…
btw, from what point of view Falque is more proven than Vietto? he is 25 and 2014/15 was his only good season… that’s not proven to me
exactly, this guy is a second striker and the other is a winger , and he still out scored him and had more assists .
and this is vietto first season in europe .he scored 3 goals in 2013/2014 ……. at least i would go for a guy who’s half the price and knows the league .
i still don’t get the connection between Falque and Vietto. Inter needs a striker to replace Palacio in the long-run, no one was talking about a WINGER.
inter needs a sporting striker who can assist and help in attack , vietto can’t do that . falque is pretty versatile and can play anywhere in the 3rd half . have u seen palacio play ? he drifts down the wing 90% of the time . falque is a good goalscorer 🙂
yess! finally someone with a brain . falque coming in can bring alot of flexibility to our squad he can play striker and down the flanks . we’re not here to collect young players . we want someone like motta,yaya… who can bring the quality up and give us the wining mentality 🙂
I’d still take Sansone over Falque any day… but only if we are gonna use 3 attackers.
why ?
This is my personal opinion but I think he is more dangerous. We already have Shaq on the right side and Sansone is left winger. He likes to cut inside and is good in one on one situations. But only if we are gonna use 4-2-3-1.

also falque is a left winger . but sansone has scored only 3 while falque scored 14 …. i don’t see why someone would chose sansone over falque . but i guess you like him because he’s an interista .

i disagree, Inter needs a goal scoring striker to partner up with Icardi up front, not a winger forced into the middle, imo.
also Vietto is agile, dribbles a lot and able to beat his man 1on1 which is something the team’s missing up front – so yeah, he can be versatile aswell
once again, i don’t have anything againts Falque, but Vietto is a different player in a different role, for 4-3-1-2 he’s more useful than the spaniard. if mr. x wants to introduce 4-2-3-1, that’s a different story and a winger is much more needed

Not the type of player we need. We need a fast skillfull striker to play along side Icardi, someone like Palacio from two seasons ago.
