Mateo Kovacic has been speaking ahead of Croatia’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Italy on Friday.
The 21 year old also touched on rumours of an Inter move for Ivan Perisic while confirming that he will stay at Inter.
Here is what the Nerazzurri number 10 had to say to Sky Sport Italia:
“Having to play behind closed doors is an advantage for Italy.”
“Rakitic? We’re really pleased that he won the final and now he’s ready for the match against Italy.”
“Perisic? He is a great player and I’m not just saying that from an Inter perspective. He’s very good and helps us in the national team a lot. If he came to Inter, I’d be very happy.”

Let’s be honest here. I’m glad that he wants to stay, but truthfully, a mega bid will change all the facts.
If he has to leave, then his price tag must not less than 40++ mil. And also we must replace him with a equivalent starlet, like Isco for example.
Or with that sum of money to invest in another crucial sector but not with buying another wasteful players (like diego peroti or biabiany).
To sum it up, for letting Kovacic go, Inter must have an excellent transfer tactic first.
