New Inter defender Joao Miranda has been speaking to the microphones of Mediaset Premium after completing his Inter medical today.
Here is what the 30 year old Brazilian had to say:
“I’m joining a great club and I’m happy to have signed for Inter.”
Can Inter get into the Champions League: “Yes.”
Why did you choose Inter? “Because they are a great team with great players and I’m sure we will win soon. Simeone told me that Inter are a great team and I’m here to win.”

What was the price to pay to Atletico? Anyway 31 year old proven defender is a plus to us. Remember Lucio came to Inter at the age of 31 for free and then became a backbone of our defense! Thank you Simeone. Now our defense should line up as follows:
RB: Santon (Donkor)
CB: Miranda (Andreolli)
CB: Ranocchia (Murillo)
LB: D’Ambrosio (Juan Jesus)
If we sign Darmian, our defense will be the best in Serie A!
