The assembled press got a surprise this afternoon as Inter president Erick Thohir slipped into Roberto Mancini’s press conference to greet the Inter coach and after Mancini had finished, Thohir then spoke to the press himself.
Here is what the Nerazzurri president had to say ahead of the new season:
“It’s the start of the new season, an exciting moment. The temperature is high here in Milan, and we have high expectations for the coming season. There’s a real buzz for this new start.”
“As I’ve said, we can’t hide the fact that our expectations are high and that we have big objectives we’ll need to work hard for, together with the management team and Roberto Mancini.”
“Now it’s important that the players produce the results and show they are capable of giving 100% both mentally and tactically for Inter. We’re sure they can do it and that’s why we’re starting to train early.”
“In mid July we head to China, where we’ll play some important matches in terms of preparation and prestige. I’d like to wish everyone a good start to the season.”

we are only allowed to buy two non-eu players in a transfer market. miranda and someone ease, we can buy one more if he is to replace for example nagatomo. to me i’d rather sell juan jesus. naga can be useful against tried defenses

no way we can get both of them. rules every year we can get only 2 non eu player. we already get miranda so its either jojo or salah and perisic.
I am happy with the business we have been doing this year. we really need to focus on off loading some players though. no one will want to come if there isn’t even room on the bench.
I hope this is Inter’s year to return to competing for trophies and return to the Champions League. I can’t fault Thohir’s efforts at all. The Club, The President & all the Inter supporters around the world deserve success.
