After Miranda was confirmed as an Inter player on Wednesday, today it was Martin Montoya’s turn to sign for Inter.
On the day the Spaniard arrived in Italy, Inter president Erick Thohir made this statement welcoming the new signing.
“It’s a pleasure for us to welcome Martin Montoya to Inter. I met him at the airport and my first impression was excellent. Our squad is becoming stronger by the day and our aim is to keep getting better and better.”

Inter and milan worry Tevecchio, I was reading somewhere. For me it looks like this guy is a Rube fan.Shouldn’t he feel happy that the sleeping giants are waking up, especially Inter for me. He doesn’t seem to want competition for Rube and the fact he kept Conte as national Coach amidst allegations of match fixing.

Botta almost officially sold to Pachuca, a Mexican club. Medical over weekend. I think its a good deal if we get some money, he doesnt fit in our squad and we got him for free, so any profit is good.

2.7M€ I believe. So him for 2.7m€, Obi for 2.4M€ and Kuzmanovič for 2M€+bonuses pretty much funded Murillo. Finally we are getting rid of dead wood in the team.
I think more than money getting rid of deadwood is much better. Can’t believe we were left with so many of them. Now I understand why Inter kind of treated Sneijder that way. Seems no player wants to respect the wishes of the club by being sold. Either that or we really had the worst management since Mou left. Funny that Rube can get rid of Zidane, Pogba, Ibra whenever they wish so at a good price.

Pedro was the top of my rate than Cuadrado/Salah/Mertens/Perisic. Pedro were deadly scary with ball on he’s feet, his vision, he was modern winger.
well, we also followed Kondogbia since Mazzarri era.
same thing happened with Palacio, followed since gasperini and bought a year after for strama.
the way I see it, we followed players, but the conditions simply didn’t allowed us to finalize the deal (either because economic or other considerations). then somehow later in the future, it’s more possible, and we ended up wrapped the deal.
I can’t judge Montoya on my own judgement because I haven’t followed his career at barca. So far though, I got two different opinions.
First opinion was from this site and generally people here told me his nothing but a benchwarmer and nothing else
Second opinion was from a barca fan that I know off, I told him did inter make a mistake in buying Montoya his just a benchwarmer at barca, his simple reply was this.. “His a benchwarmer because he does not contribute well in attacking plays with barca system, however monotya defensive side is really good which is not enough for Barcelona”
The positive note from these two opinions is the defensive contribution of Montoya – whether it’s true or not – it’s something I hope that inters management side considered when buying him.
