Danilo D’Ambrosio has spoke to journalists following this afternoon’s friendly win against Carpi, which saw D’Ambrosio play the first 45 minutes at right back.
“It was a tougher test for us today. It was really hot out there and the tempo was a bit slower. We tried to reproduce what we’ve been practising this week but there’s still room for improvement.”
On Roberto Mancini:
“The gaffer is really motivated and we’re all looking to him, taking his advice on board and putting it into practice.”
Where do Inter need to strengthen?
“I’m not going to talk about the transfer market. Technically there are some areas where we can improve.”
You have been linked with a move away from Inter. Your thoughts?
“There has been some interest in me and it’s always nice but the club and I have decided to go on together. Big clubs are always going to sign players but the rumours don’t affect the way we train or the mood in the camp.”
First impression of Geoffrey Kondogbia?
“He’s a strong player with great technique.”

U need to improve also
How about you learn how to make crosses? That should be your job for the whole pre-season. A 26 yrs old full-back who cant make a single decent cross. He is good defensively though. On the other hand we got Nagatomo who makes good crosses with both feets but cant defend. A mix of these two would be the perfect fullback lol. I hope Montoya is like that.
Actually I think that D’ambrosio is one of our most reliable defenders. He does not have black outs compared to others. He plays tuff and consistent and is quite good in the offensive and somtimes score goals. That must be more than average player witch finest task is to defend.
There’s room for improvement for Inter. And then there’s the exit door wide open for you.
This is guy is too mediocre. Can score the odd goal. Macellari anyone?? Sell him asap. Would love pinilla, qualiarella, gomez taleb or return of cassano but prob wont happen since longo will be our fourth and if we get perisic we wont get stevan. We still are severely lacking for lateral defenders. I honestly preferred king johnny over this guy. Also would like to see Rano try at RB he used to be a trequartista growing up and for his lack of speed the guy actually has good technique and is good in the air. Could be grosso style.
“interest in me”
don’t believe it for a second
Yep
