Inter boss Roberto Mancini spoke to the press immediately after his side’s 0-3 defeat to Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup.
“Apart from the result, which we’re obviously not happy about, I’m satisfied with the first-half performance. We played against one of the best teams in the world,” began Mancini.
The Nerazzurri coach then looked back on the tour as a whole: “Obviously the results haven’t been positive, but the main thing is to see a performance and we’ve got better as a team with every game. I’m not worried that we haven’t scored because I’m sure that Inter will step up when it matters. Jovetic is a different forward to Icardi and Palacio and will be an important player for us.”
Finally, Mancini spoke about the season ahead and the rumours linking Inter with a move for Chinese midfielder Zhang Linpeng: “I’m confident of our future and the season ahead. We have players capable of challenging for the title. Linpeng is an interesting midfielder, we’ll see if he could be an option for us in the future.”

He is playing as RB and CB. He has speed, can use both of his legs, good shot and also can pass the defender one on one. Defend like Murillo run like nagatomo, Has vision like kovacic, strong like medel, cross like Shaqiri, Shoot like Hernanes and play like no tomorrow. But I think he can do that things because he actually playing in Chinese league and I really doubt he can do such things in european football. Should try him as left back since he is really good with both legs but must buy a decent one. We can’t risk unproven player in our squad. Zhang Linpeng is loved by many Chinese. This is our chance to get more fans from biggest population country in this planet, because India has cricket and still have no decent football player and US has NBA, Baseball and American footbal to compete with real football.

i don’t think we can judge mancini until perisic and jovetic come. remember we’re still playing in the same(almost) lineup as last season.
After Perisic and a decent leftback come we can judge Mancini. And I think we need Motta to play behind Kondogbia and Kovacic. Medel is good though, his passing rate last season was above xavi and Motta, only behind Kroos and Granit Xhaka in europe.
i’m against the usage of that stat. it’s very misleading imo, motta has actually averaged more passes per game. but anywho 😛 medel is doesn’t have many solutions and is very one-dimensional, kovacic is certainly not a holding midfielder. and melo is not the answer. iimo i think motta fits in like a glove.
