Sky have been reporting on the latest news concerning Inter defender Marco Andreolli’s transfer to Bologna, confirming negotiations between the player and Bologna have took a step backwards.
Andreolli has decided to stay at Inter to wait for his opportunity before possibly returning to the proposal of Bologna.
It is likely that his decision was affected by the back surgery that will keep Nemanja Vidic side lined until January at least and this will see Andreolli move up in Inter’s defensive pecking order.

let’s face 2 facts here: # 1 – he’s not going to take a paycut to go play for Bologna when he can make more money riding the bench for Inter and 2 – Anybody is an upgrade over Vidic so Andreolli is perfect for that role
I have stated time and time again, that MENTALITY is Inter’s key issue. Our squad is full of players who’d rather to sit on the bench, and cash they paycheck rather than play the game. They don’t care about winning, and they are not ultimate competitors! We should clear our squad from such players if we want to get back on top!

After the injury of Vidic, we definitely need to keep Andreolli as the 4th centre back after Rano,Murillo,Miranda. At least the positive thing is that Vidic is injured now instead of later when we have already sold Andreolli and can’t sign another defender (or need to complete a last minute panic buy).
I think that we have to keep Juan and Rano as subs. In addition of that Juan will be cover for the new left full back and if Needed Medel can play as a cenral defender as well (having in mind that we have a lot of midfielders …)

Rano is good if there is someone good playing next to him. Look at when he has Chiellini next to him on the National Team for example.
C’mon he’s always delivered when played, he doesn’t have a high salary and never complains even when he doesn’t play. Now that Vidic is out, why sell him for almost nothing ?
