Fredy Guarin has been speaking to Sky after Inter’s 2-1 win against Serie A newcomers Carpi tonight.
“It was important to win, even if we did it with difficulty against a Carpi team who were more aggressive in the second half. But we were focused until the end and this has to be the right attitude.”
“If something has changed? Yes, a lot, the players (laughs). No, it’s obvious the important thing is the mentality and understanding that we must always play to win.”
“If I expected to stay? Yes because the coach and myself have always confirmed that I would stay.”
“The rumours of a move away? Well, you can say that and that is fine but my head is at Inter.”

Far from the assist and the penalty, he did nothing in the pitch, no
tackles, poor defense and lack of responsibility (as a captain) he will
never change in a million year. Inter better without him
He needs to be sold. A poor game against carpi, Thank you for what you did the last couple of years but guess you can give no more.
Are you blind?… He made an assist for the first goal, and got the penalty for the second?.. He was arguably the best player on the pitch.
Best player ?? True that was a good cross and he did well to get that penalty but faaaar from being the best. sorry to disappoint you buddy but that’s not the guarin of 2 years ago
First of all i said arguably. Second of all, as you can see on the vote of man of the match, Guarin comes in on a safe second place behind Jojo.
Guarin gave the killer assist pass and earned the penalty. Without guarin on the field we would have lost 1-0. Enough with the hate parade bird shooting so called fans. The guy also does wonder fkr the locker room and is a complete midfielder. Yes he makes some simple mistakes but he won the game for us … and he had done the same under mancio for the 2nd half if last season.
In closing. Shut your garbage mouthes guarin haters, you ibviously dont know anything about football.
again, you reply to the wrong person dude!!!

IMHO i think he did quite good. but, if we looked at his two years here, he always made good impact on the beginning of the season, then he was lost, found his rhythm again, injuries, and played so so…better hope he plays beast and best for this season. hope for the others too.. no more inconsistent play or you all go out
He needs to be consistent and if he is, he’s the South American Stankovic, minus the shot accuracy.
Pretty much! Spot on!
Good to see glimpses of Porto’s Guarin forza inter”
