Now if only a youth product would become a great player for inter. Most of them wind up overhyped for no reason.
sometimes, they were overhyped by the media and the fans.. it’s not good to put so much pressure to a young kid.. even messi in his young age start from the bench, until he was ready.. look at kova!? no doubt he has a great talent, but our fans and media always praise him like he was in the messi level already.. and that’s wrong, because it will kill his developement by putting to much pressure for him.. he need time and should start from the bench untill he has the right mentality to be a starter.. just my opinion my friend.. ^^
Kovacic had too much fan love. He thought he would always be a starter until mancio benched him and guess what? When he said he had enough of playing around and would fight for a starting positon, he became a starter again and played well. He had the luxury of being a spoiled fan favourite. We all spoiled him.
yeah.. because for years we longing for young talent, and he was the one.. i adore him too, but i tend to hold my self to overhyped a young talent because it will ruin his life.. some kids need room to explore himself without too many spotlight.. btw kova has gone, my hope are kondo, gnou, telles or even juan can make a real progress this season..
Newton’s 3rd law aside, i do feel proud already of Thohir’s commitment to build the youth team. The way it seems to bear many fruits and good ones at that.
