A contract renewal that has almost turned into a soap opera. Samir Handanovic has a contract that expires at June 2016 and so far no new contract has been signed, even though an OK is said to have been reached months ago. Sources that FcInternews have talked to say that there are no meetings planned before Christmas.
Yuto Nagatomo also has an expiring contract in June 2016 but in his case a renewal seems far away for other reasons. Considering how little the Japanese fullback plays under Roberto Mancini it is more likely he will be sold in January.

Is Handa waiting to see if we’ll be playing in CL next season before renewing?? it is a bit disappointing to question if his heart is still with the team.. but no one can deny that he has done so much for us and I hope he will continue to do so

Have you seen the saves last year? The continous penalty saves? Even with the shit defence…. I’m sorry but most of our wins, he had saved a lot of shots… thats what I remember and as far as motivation goes, maybe it can be restored this season
