Inter are working on the future of former captain Andrea Ranocchia. According to reports from Premium Sport, the Italian defender has refused offers from English Premier League sides Norwich City and Crystal Palace.
Meanwhile, Roma have proposed an exchange deal between Ranocchia and the Giallorossi’s Argentine striker Juan Iturbe.
Inter are also assessing the position of Valencia’s Sophiane Feghouli, for which Roberto Mancini would be ready to change tactic.

if he will come we must sell palacio and some players we must get grujic too.
Just do it
I hate how every time this fool Ranocchia get mentioned it’s together with the phrase “former captain”
This idea is far better than adding rano plus 20m for Biglia when we already have pitbull and melo.
What does ” change tactic for feghouli means ? Changing formation to 4-3-3 or changing the transfer tactic?
Hmmm.. Iturbe used to be a beast on the wing, before joining Roma and if Mancini can get him back to his former strongths it would be a great deal, but kind of doubt Iturbe has what Mancini is looking for at the moment – that is a proven player with experience ready to help out right away! Like this dude from Spanien.
Guys, I’m not sure how many here follow my random predictions but I’m starting to feel like a pundit. I’ll blow my own horn for a change.
Predictions from 3 months ago:-
1. Montoya will struggle and returned to sender. Santon will take the right back role and revel. Next season, us being us, we’ll look for another right back. TRUE
2. Kondogbia will struggle. This will not be because of a lack of talent, but because of a change in role. Until now he’s only played as a defensive midfielder. Sitting in front of defence, shielding them and laying simple passes. Mancini will change his role to get forward, dribble and shoot, much like he did with Yaya Toure at Manchester City. There’s going to be some teething problems but he’ll come through. TRUE
3. Kovacic will revel in his new role. This will be his break-out year. GONE – I would say more but I’ll be risking getting abusive.
4. Murillo will turn out to be a beast of a capture. His price will look like peanuts. He’s a rock, a foundation to build around in defence, much like Kovacic & Icardi.
TRUE
5. Jovetic will shine. Few injury problems and he’ll score, create and look like a shrewd purchase. TRUE
6. Palacio will regress badly. By this time next year, his transfer value will be next to zero. TRUE

Predictions from a few days ago:-
wow great man and now with the new year coming up it would be nice if you could tell us which team to gamble some money on next summer for the Euro Cup in France – would be great to win some easy money!
Belgium and Germany will do well.
Germany? Are you sure you’re not making that prediction based too much on their World Cup win, following which Lahm and Klose promptly retired leaving 2 big holes in the squad? (On the other hand Ginter looks at home playing right back u guess. I know Klose was past his best and Muller’s incredible but he’s not a pure no 9, dulling their forward line a bit)
France-
Pogba is struggling for Juve & Benzema is busy trying to earn some extra cash on the side. Bribery is old and injured. They have holes in their squad. Lots of good young players, like Laporte, Pogba, Kondog etc. but too few who can be considered stars right now. Griezmann…am I missing anyone else.
Spain-
Xavi is gone, Iniesta is spent, Fabregas & Costa are struggling with Chelsea. They too have holes in their squad. Thiago can be good, but other than that, most of the rest are either kids with solid futures, not present, or old guys living off their name. Pique is too much of a hit or miss.
Germany-
Yes Klose & Lahm retired, but they’re probably the only team without obvious holes in their squad. They’ve got top players for all positions. Boateng, Neur, Kroos, Muller…quite a lot of solid players.
Italy-
Overrated players, washed up old players,
really? Based on the fact they are both top of the FIFA-list I guess you could be right!
I didn’t check the rankings, to be honest. Just random guesses based on what I know about their squads. Belgium has a lot of players who’re either very good right now, or solid players who play for top clubs. Their depth is astounding. I noticed this before the world cup.
If you want a dark horse prediction, take Switzerland. Haven’t been following their performances or qualification results, but they too have some surprising players in their squad. Some, not a lot though.
Okay, thanx alot Mr. all mighty-know-it-all
Are you paul the octopus?
LOL.. i almost forgot the octopus..XD
LMAO
Some of these predictions aren’t really that hard though, like Murillo was voted best young player of Copa America, hard to see him not being a beast at Inter after that. Montoya was already showing in preseason that he won’t succeed here and Palacio has been regressing for some time now, no surprise. None the less, nice predictions I guess.
Who else will come in January transfer ?
Biglia is not coming. Much as Mancini might like him, the current management is not gonna spend that kind of price for a soon to be 30 yr. old. It’ll be Hernanes or Palace all over again. Thohir is much too smart to fall for that again. Expect Yaya Mk II. Pirlo is a possibility. Low cost 6 month loan, experience, never a physical beast, he’s a smart purchase. That, or a young talent that was hardly mention in the media, but throughly scouted, and will prove a smart purchase for the future.
Expect a straight sale for Ranochhia, if we can get a good price, or an exchange with Iturbe. The Iturbe exchange will probably be a loan with option to buy for both clubs, since it’s the safest option for both. Roma needs a CB, and Rano has always had potential, is italian, and neither old, nor young. They’ll hope he discovers his Bari form with them. Iturbe was always considered talented, but only had the one good season with Hellas. The thing is, neither clubs will risk a straight swap. If one finds his form and other struggles, one club will be the laughing stock of Italy. Loan with options is safe for both. It hedges the bets for both clubs, incase one of them struggles and the other is a hit.
A right back.
