“I don’t know if Montoya will leave in January. He’s played and shown he’s up to the task. Things can change very quickly in football. He’s a good footballer and a good lad. It’s up to him if he wants to accept this situation or look somewhere else where he might play more regularly.”
“We’ve often tried D’Ambrosio out at centre-back and he does a great job there. Kondogbia was coming back in after injury today but still produced some phenomenal stuff. We need to give him a bit of time. The transfer market? The squad is complete. I’m happy because all the lads are performing well and everyone feels involved. I don’t think we need to do anything but we do need to consider if there are players who want to move on so they can play more. At the moment there’s a very good balance within the squad.”
Finally, Mancini commented briefly on the Curva’s support: “You get that when things are going well. I’m happy the fans believe in the team.”

People right about inter wasting chances, but do we waste more than others ? the answer is NO. Icardi had 12 scoring chances scored 6 thats 50%, here is the interesting part, Higuain has 14 goals from 60 scoring chances, on average thats about 33% much lower than Icard’s average, Inter has secod most attacks and 3rd highest positioning, but when it comes to number i crunched the numbers, the reason we are on top, is because our high average, average concede is lowest and average score from possible scoring opportunities is the highest. source of those states is Serie A official website.
The question is what makes higuain can have 60 chances? is it because the team creativity or because higuain ability?

if Higuain had 60 scring opportunities because his teammates have provided chances for him, even altobelli (who is one of Inters legends and all times scorers) said that Icardi was right to complain about service he just chosen the wrong words and wrong time, and i stand on this by the fact Inter second highest in making attacks, 412 comparsion to Napoli’s 464
Montoya played well, so did Kondogbia. The whole team had raised their level, especially on both wings. My only concern, until now, is the team often waste chances due to misunderstanding, or poor decision. I hope they will be more collective next year.
no worries its getting better time to time, now we r way much better in attack compared to few months back
Defense line is much better this season but we still need good players in the attack. Perisic is complete flop. so far I’ve seen nothing attractive in his play, and I think He’s not worth the money inter spent on him. most of the matches we won were 1-0, we really have difficulty in scoring goals.
Perisic will be much better, and he already have 3 goals and couple assists in less then 10 appearances, as i commented before and im agreeing RM words, this current team is complete just the way it is, everyone feel as an important part of the team, and thats the main core of a winning team.
If anything we want to add/remove, go with those who havent/severely lacking game time or not in RM’s plan such as Vidic, Rano & Di Marco (good for themselves), either Dodo/Naga (we could use a playmaking midfielder instead of having 2 offensive FB that mainly serves as back-up).
flop? come on man, he is not the CR style winger. He is a team player with speed, stamina & very good work rate.
Perisic complete flop? Lol. He’s just 5 months in serie A, moved from speedy bundesliga. He wasn’t playing in every match as well. Give him a time. Didn’t you see how he ran tirelessly up and down to help our defense in some matches? He’s got good work ethic so far.
Don’t be so pessimistic about Inter’s performance, dude. We need a winning mentality that has been lost for 4 years and that’s what we’re getting this season.

he has only 1 dribbling skill not that much pace… be realistic there are a lot of players that may produce more in the 20MM range, easily I would prefer Salah, Insigne, etc (considering only Serie A)
however we got to recognize as I already noticed, he has great positioning- this guy score 3 goals by being in the right place at the right time- but even Dodo has better dribbling skills than him, remember he is a winger he must be able to find the right space, run, pass, dribble and shoot-

Oh, that Salah who rejected us and yet stuck at “runner up at best” club. And Napoli wouldn’t give up Insigne easily. I remember we bought good dribler like quaresma and amantino mancini. They were never suitable with our style of play.

He did well in attack for build up play, his positioning is execelent, his movement when dragging opponent away from our other attacker is crucial, he help running when we do counter attack, he has defensive awareness, he bagged some goals and assist. What else do you expect?
His crosses are terrible, his dribbling is low class, his possession of the ball looks clumsy. His skills are ineffective. what else do you expect ?

no not really, I respect Mancio’s ideas, he’s done a great work until now, but it’s also true with Mancini we’re never gonna win big tournaments, but to win Seria A, he’s the best solution. I also have best wishes for Perisic hope he delivers in the next games
i am agree with jemz, id prefer a team player that can make the tactic works well instead of being a phenomenal player like R9 during 97 season but unable to fit completely with the team tactics and making the team relying too much to him. Anyhow u can see now that the tactic works well and as a team we are difficult to beat as we are unpredictable..

Flop? You should see his speed when accelerate with/out the Ball. He is pure winger with speed and stamina, he isn’t trickstar like Figo, CR7, Neymar. I think he isn’t shine(not yet actually) because he has to take a part to cover wing side when the team defending.
compare Jovetic and Perisic, you see one is very effective the other is flop
its not a flop in my opinion, he is a power horse, strong body balance, good acceleration, strong aerial and team player. He complete mancios puzzle he makes the tactic works well.
all that is right, but in terms of efficiency and his contribution to attack and to scoere goals he’s been an absolute flop
