Nemanja Vidic is back in training with his teammates and Roberto Mancini has the Serbian defender at his disposal. The central defender talked to Inter Channel and had the following things to say:
“Six months work hasn’t been easy, most of all out of the mental aspect. Now I feel well and I’m ready, I’m very happy to be working with the team. The surgery at my back was difficult but now I’m working without pain which is very important. I hope to become like a new signing for the team. I want to give my contribution.”

how can we still consider him too much money for a deadwood- clearly he is way old, if I were him I would’ve moved to the MLS.
guys, he wasnt that good last season because he was playing for the first time in his life in three man defense, he did some mistakes and most of the people started to be harsh on him from the beginning. I never lost belief in him, although i could. but he is one of us, we should treat him better. i hope he stays, because we have got still a lot of deadwood in our squad and i want to see reaction of fans, when he will be bossing defense again as he did, what they will be sayin…
c’mon man he was the best defender ever he still have it , he failed because it was mazzari’s tactics and his hernia problem , he’s better than ranocchia and jj
Depends, he would not fit besides Miranda, but besides Murillo or JJ he would be valuable to control the too younger more careless defenders.
Actually from last season statistics before Miranda and Murillo coming, Vidic is the best defender we had than the others despite several blunders he made. He just need to learn making right decision and don’t play on risk.
For Ranocchia to lose his spot on the bench to Vidic means he’s one of the biggest pieces of crap ever and he was Inter’s captain last season ? HOW !!!
My biggest concern is his salary. Due this reason, it will be great if we can sell him in January.
who’s gonna buy him ? you’ll have to find a team dumber than Inter to take him off your hands…..good luck with that !!
very true, but we managed to offload hernanes to errr, i forgot,…it must be some club from.., or …damn my memory is so weak.. but hey who knows there will be some other “dumber” team than inter who will buy vidic? #fingercross
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
DUMB RUBENTUS
LOLLLLL……..
LOL.. nice one mate!!! XD
Actually what is dumb is paying 18 mill for hernanes, selling him for 11 mill so that you can have the money to buyout Dodo and cover his 2 years worth of Salary ! Basically selling Hernanes for Dodo is like trading Clarence Seedorf for Francesco Coco now who could be that stupid? oh yea that’s right….INTER !!!
spot on, agree with you.. we still have -7mil deficit after we sold him, damn why inter bought hernanes for the first place anyway, I hope it will never happen again in the future. however, Inter is lucky to only have -7mil deficit compare to that club who bought him 11mil, (i guess it was salernitana, or salamanca, or wait..maybe it’s norwich, nah.. can’t remember anything..damn), anyway if that club can’t sell hernanes, they will have -11mil deficit, compare to -7mil deficit of Inter, and that doesn’t include the salary. damn, Inter is so lucky
your math is mistaken because selling hernanes for Dodo is an 18 million deficit because DODO IS WORTHLESS !!
well if you are worried about it happening again, may i remind you of the Inter list of devalued players over the last 4 years: Silvestre, Schelotto, Nagatomo, Forlan, Pazzini, Guarin, Pereira, Ranocchia, Palacio shall I continue ? what’s a 7 mill loss when you look at the amount of money inter wasted on crap over the last 4 years or so ? It’s a good thing that at Juventus it doesn’t happen as often as it does at Inter 😉
Jesus Christ! you still reply me after 5 days? thanks mate, you make my day, :).. and yeah the last 4 years (after the famous Treble) no one can deny that inter had seriously bad mercato, and that particular person whom his name is on your ID, perhaps were the reason of all those misconduct. however even in that unfortunate periods, Inter made some good mercato as well, brought in those who are now become backbone of rebirth Inter such as Handanovic,Icardi and Brozovic. but still his sins were bigger than his merits, and that’s why Ausilio now in charge. hopefully Inter can move on with smart mercato and let the past be in the past.
and I almost forget, speaking of the past, every team had bad period in the past including that team who almost won the treble last year, and they had awful mercato as well, players they bought devalued horribly both in the field and market such as: Tiago, Iaquinta, Sissoko, Andrade, Almiron, Amauri, Poulsen, Diego Ribas, Milos Krasic, Jorge Martinez, and player that is at inter right now Felipe Melo (bought for 25mil sold for around 1.5mil), they all devaluated massively.
if you say the past is in the past, we all agree with that, however if you say my comparison is waaaay to far in the past, it’s because personally (as I was taught in college) it’s would be unfair to compare 2 different periods of teams, it’s not apple to apple. that’s why when you brough 4 miserable years of Inter, I bring you 4 miserables years of that particular team. thus, it will only be fair if you make comparison on the most successful period of each teams, although in this case Treble Winner Inter vis a vis Almost Got Treble Team
you actually think that Ausilio Director? one summer mercato of using his own brain to get Medel-M’Villa-Osvaldo-Dodo and you think he’s a good Sporting Director?? Just look at that list of players…..it’s crap !! Inter was a 5th place team when he had his first mercato and he did absolutely NOTHING to improve the team ! He makes a fantastic SPORTING CLERK – but then again so did Branca ! The way you talk makes Branca sound like a genius cuz he is the one that put together the Treble but let’s face it….he’s a sporting Clerk too! Mourinho pulled all the strings. Today it’s Mancini that does all the scouting and he orders Ausilio to push the paperwork through that’s my definition of a sporting Clerk. When Ausilio says no to a certain player it’s mancini that whines and bitches and complains and threatens to quit like a baby to ET until he gets what he wants a la Kondognia. Just remember, when you look at Italy’s coefficent points in Europe the majority of that comes from the hard work that Juventus has done to resurrect a league that Inter decimated. PS – Get ready for a tie on Wednesday against Empoli
seeing your heavily reply on Ausilio’s role, makes me seriously think you are actually Marco Branca, of course no one will deny Mourinho’s influence, and now Mancini’s in the present team, and of course they are all sporting clerk! what I mean previously is the way they get the players. coaches want players, sporting directors get them. the difference is (at least in my opinion) Branca get the players coaches want with all resources, he paid at any price even if there were other way to get them cheaper (in part because during Moratti’s era and pre-FFP it was possible), while Ausilio get the players the coach asked (Mazzari everyone! :)) with little money, those players you mention above excluding Medel which I disagree to put him in “flop” category, M’villa, yeah he’s not that good, but Ausilio only get him for 1mil, Osvaldo? for free he was on loan and Inter didn’t take the option to buy, and for Dodo, apparently both Genoa clubs want him. this is how Ausilio is different from Branca (again at least in my opinion), when choaces no longer wants the player Branca uses his “golden shake” to let them go, while Ausilio negotiate to sell them with reasonable price
and the last point was so disturbing for me, Inter is the reason Italy coefficients decline? come on, any sane Serie A fans would not think so, how could Inter decimated Italy’s coefficient when Inter do not participate in those competitions? Inter’s Treble help Italy to avoid losing 4th place CL qualification sooner, and when Inter participate, both in CL an EL, Inter always pass the group stages which is crucial for coefficient, damn Inter even took huge risk when Milito and other key got injured in EL! Inter played EL seriously. blame those feeder clubs who get to CL just to gain some cash and make profits by selling their star players, and then did not pass the group stage, sent to Europa League played their 2nd team and then lost while saying “we are focusing on Serie A, not Europa League” crap..bla..bla..PS: damn true, 2 weeks without Serie A seems forever for me, hope to see great matches
I will explain why i say inter ruined serie a …….. after they won the treble Serie A went into the toilet. But let me remind you that inter only started having success when Juve was not there and is it a coincidence that when juve is competitive that inter sucks? i don’t think so…..Inter did prove a few things when they won CL: 1-it is possible for an Italian team to win a CL without a single italian in the starting lineup. 2-you do not need a youth team if you have money 3-inter is willing to go bankrupt to win the CL …….but now order has been restored in Serie A – Juve is on top where they belong and in 10 years will have 4 stars on their jersey. But Juve did prove that you can put a solid midfield together for only 12 mill in transfer fees: just look at Marchisio-Pirlo-Vidal-Pogba …..now that is the work of a good sporting director and not that of a Sporting Clerk.
first of all, having in mind that you are other’s team fan and I’m an Inter fan make us disagree on many things and influence our point of view, and that’s pretty normal, it doesn’t stop us on conducting a healthy discussion that we expect to have here.
but please, for me you did not explain anything, “after they won the treble (thank you for your kind word 🙂 ed) Serie A went into the toilet” so? where’s the point? does it have any correlation? after the famous treble, Inter went into CL and always pass the group stages, which has massive contribution for coeficients, so where’s Inter faults? Serie A lost to Bundesliga because of EL not CL, everyone knows that, the last time German team won Cl before their “rebirth” in 12-13 season was in 00-01, they topped Italy only because their EL teams took the competition seriously unlike Italian teams like I mentioned above.
your next “explanations” did not explain anything on Italy’s coefficient lost rather it’s just some descriptions about how Inter won everything with inappropriate manner in your view like :
“yes Inter won the CL but no Italian starter”, seriously? did it affect Italy’s coeficient? please give me some enlightmen here
“we did not need youth players, just bring in stars”, so? again did it have something to do with coeficient?
“we spent all of our money to win CL”, it even contadicts your point! the point is that Moratti spent millions to win the CL, which eventually help Serie A coefficient! even at the expense of Inter
your “explanations” for me were just how you try to make Inter’s success worth nothing, because there’s no Italian involved (which is wrong for me because Balotelli and Santon also contributed), because Inter “bought” the success (so? every team do that, do you think your team would be like this if there’s no Agnelli family?)
I have huge respect for your team, so beating your team means so much for me, but to say that your team is always 100% perfect with their mercato and Inter is the perfect opposite is so much biased. like I said before, every team have their best and worst periods and is it coincidence that one team’s bad period is other team’s best moments? no, I agree with you, but not only Inter but with milan also, anytime one of these 3 had their best periods the other 2 will much likely going through their not-so-good period.
Maybe you forgot about lucio mate
INTERS STARS = JUVE’S BENCH !
maybe an exchange for Ceceres?
you think Inter is gonna exchange caceres for a roll of toilet paper ?? LOL
No need to give him a chance, sell him. Too old and on high wages, we could be giving chances to young players instead
no one will pay
But he is so bad! He lacks any kind of speed and I think Medel and even Jesus are way ahead of him. He just continues to cash his paycheck and do nothing. Only contribution on the pitch would be on set pieces, not in defense, He is not the leader we need, he’s just a big risk.
Vidic WILL be like a new signing if we’d be able to sell Rano, and use him as a sub for M&M. We’ll hopefully let him go in June, and save on his salary. Him and Palacio leaving we could use the money saved to pay for a top player’s salary next year…
Well, M&M won’t be playing forever, sometimes maybe he will be needed. I don’t like the fact Vidic earns too much for a sub, but I really like his words here. Two, three games and we’ll know, if he is worth anything now.
we should give him a chance , but im still mad at him to come in and give away that dumb foul against wolfs that kevin scored and carizzo flopped
