Lazio central defender Wesley Hoedt spoke with newspaper AD in his native Netherlands and spoke of his feelings towards the Giuseppe Meazza, where some of his compatriot’s have went down in football history: “Shortly before the winter break, I played at the San Siro against Inter. There they hosted great champions like Marco Van Basten, Ruud Gullit, Clarence Seedorf… It made a great impression on me, but unfortunately it was not full. It’s sad to see empty stadiums even if the vacuum impression is due to the fact that they are very large stadium: one in Bologna is 40 thousand capacity, to Rotterdam and to Excelsior with 4 thousand people it seems full. But the pitches are all great.”
