Gianluca Di Marzio reports on his homepage that Inter are very close to signing Fenerbahce’s Turkish fullback Caner Erkin. According to the report, tomorrow an Inter emissary will travel to Turkey to meet with the player to try to bridge the way and find an agreement. “The idea is to conclude the deal on the basis of a 3-year deal which would see Erkin earn €2,2 million per season. If the parts find an agreement tomorrow, Erkin will arrive in Milano after the international break to undergo his medical examination. Inter are preparing for next season as Caner Erkin edges closer to wearing black and blue” DiMarzio writes.

Tonny Vilhena: Another exciting youngster. Left footed midfielder
Other interesting names: Mauricio (Zenit), Van der Wiel (Psg), Emmanuel Mas (San Lorenzo) and Martin Caceres (Juve)
Maybe some of these players would make us stronger next season.
Medel is a beast. Most underrated player by Inter fans.
I personally like Medel and many times have defended him here. Not saying he’s a bad player. But if we can get someone better than him…

This is a quality full back, finally an established player can come who not only plays for his country, but also is a key figure as he takes set pieces and corners which we need since Hernanes gone. completing our full back positions, if we can get aurier we are set for champions league

great coach can turn shitty player into great player…with mancimi we can not count on that…we was have 5 player which value is around 8-10mil (santon, dumbro, telles, naga, montoya) and to be honest no one playing good…so with mancio we need players which min value is 20mil, and then we will have average fullbacks in legue 🙁
I forget how much we pay for maicon back then, I almost believe we trade him with peanuts. With mancini, he was world best right back
Would I take Erkin if we had to pay for him? Most likely not. Is he good reinforcement if we get him on free? I think so, yeah.
For free i think he could be good investment,i didn’t know him before,i loked him up and from what i see he is a standard LB in Fenerbahce in Turkey which is not a bad club and i guess they play him for a reason (mainly as a starter) for 3 whole seasons lol
Anyway he is worth around 10M,as per Transfermarket that is,has around 10 assists per season so i guess eaither he is lucky or he is a deacent crosser,in anyway he is probably better then Nagatomo and for free i think we should give it a go
Telles also played in Turkish league and Galatasaray fans weren’t too impressed, but he still turned out to be our best fullback. I’d take Erkin as long as we don’t have to pay.
Wow, you surely don’t watch Erkin. I mean i can not say watch Turkish League. However, i am watching it and i will say that Erkin is the top 5 left backs in the world atm. Where i said before the season started that Telles and Melo are not good enough for Inter. Believe me, Erkin is what we need! A warrior with hardworking and talent

Wouldn’t this be a free? Cuz I dunno… when there’s no transfer fee, I tend to be willing to give most guys a shot. Last I heard, there were a few EPL teams looking to grab him as well. How much worse could he be than what we have? And he may well be an improvement. On a free, seems like a risk you may as well take, especially in our situation where we may need to sell players for Financial Fair Play.
right on, he is worth at least 10m but we can get him for free, expiring contract, just like on career mode + he is an upgrade to our LB
Definetly not a second-grade player. Everybody in Turkey praises his play. He is essentially a more stable and defensive version of Telles.
