Yuto Nagatomo-Inter, a relationship that will go on till 2020. According to Cm.com, tomorrow is scheduled a meeting where the japanese player will sign a new 2 years contract with an option for the 3d year. On Friday a press conference should officialize the agreement.

I don’t mind Nagatomo signing an extension because he adds much more to the team off the pitch then he does on it. With that being said, I truly hope he isn’t even an option as a starting fullback next season. He’d make a solid backup due to his ambidexterity, but if I have to watch him start at fullback for another season, I won’t be watching for another season.

He would prove useful against bottom of the table teams, early rounds of Coppa Italia, and if Inter switch to 5 at the back late in games. I’d expect between 10-15 appearances all season, but we need a LB and RB that have the quality to ensure Nagatomo only receives that many appearances, not the current situation where he is arguably a starter.
NOOOOOOO!!! I officially stop watching Inter for next two years. I really don’t know what to say. Two most important things for a fullback: defending and passing/crossing and he sucks in both of them. He can only stop players equal to him – fast and brainless. Any idea, what he’s doing in a club like Inter? Sorry guys, I’m frustrated of the last game, this season, maybe even last few seasons. Always losing goals and points because of him. I would even prefer Jonathan and Kuz staying, at least I could laugh (joke). I will again see a games of Inter, when his contract will be terminated. Of course, I’ll still check the results. Enough.
Contrary to popular belief, he isn’t THAT bad. We’ve cringed at all the mistakes he’s made but he does a lot of work would be a decent sub if we get another left back. D’ambrosio and santon ARENT better than him
I think replying to that is stupid, but I do that… every time I say he’s shit somebody is defending him (which I completely can’t understand). So I say: yes, we have mediocre fullbacks, but it doesn’t mean Nagashit is master. Our best fullbacks imo are Telles and.. D’Ambrosio, yes, recently he made mistakes, but at the beginning of the season he was great, especially in defence, remember save vs Roma? Even Santon wasn’t that bad when got time. If only we could play the same XI every week (dumb Mancio) surely we would be at least 2nd… I still can’t believe N-shit already spend here more time than Milito or Sneijder.
