Chelsea have took the lead in the race to sign Lazio winger Antonio Candreva according to La Repubblica.
The London club are believed to have beaten competition from Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Inter – who proposed 16M Euro plus 2M Euro in bonuses – to the Biancoceleste.
Chelsea are set to offer Lazio 32M Euro for the Italian international as well as offering the winger a lucrative four-year deal.

Thank goodness hopefully this happens. It would be financially irresponsible for Inter to spend that amount of money on him.
Pedro is going back to Barcelona
He just said that he would like to retire at Barca, it doesn’t mean he is going back. Conte will surely adore him because of his work rate and will to sacrifice his stats for the good of the team so I don’t see him moving anywhere.

I would say i don’t believe it as Chelsea have quality wingers already-Willian, Pedro and Hazard. Not to mention there’s Cuadrado on loan and the youth stars. But word is Conte isn’t overly impressed with Hazard-that I can believe. Willian though should be the sort of player he likes. And Cuadrado. That’s 2 right sided wingers. So all in all I don’t believe this
Conte needs a hardworker winger, not a tricky one like Willian or Cuadrado is. He wants Candreva for his 3-5-2.
Except Conte’s favourite formation is 4-2-4. Hence all the love for Nainggolan and another centre forward. Tbh I think Conte’s likely to look at Chelsea and model them on something akin to Atletico with a 4-4-2. But whatever formation—Hazard and Pedro are tricky skilful wingers. Willian and Cuadrado are too but they’re such hard workers. I still feel a move for Candreva makes no sense whatsoever for Chelsea
