Palmeiras’s 19 year old star Gabriel Jesus appears to be Inter’s top target for this summer mercato. According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Giovanni Branchini, the player’s European representative, met with Gabriel Jesus and his family this past weekend to clarify his future. The Nerazzurri have two advantages in the race to sign the Brazilian. Firstly, Ronaldo (who owns the player’s image rights) is pushing for Jesus to join Inter. Secondly, Inter are willing to loan the player back to Palmeiras until December. Based off of Gabriel Jesus’s intentions, Branchini will hold talks with certain clubs this week. Gabriel Jesus wants a pay raise, but the deciding after will be whether he can receive ample playing time at his future club. Inter are optimistic that they can sign the Palmeiras star, and Ausilio has been given the approval to splash the cash on the player.

With so many top clubs supposedly interesting in him, the chances of Inter signing him is very low.
Hopefully his future will be decided soon, so that in the likely scenario that Inter does not get him, they wont be wasting more time and can move on to more realistic targets.
So it’s true. We are planning to loan him until January. This means that we are certainly going to sign two wingers.
Who?
