According to Calciomercato.com pundit Giovanni Scotto, Lazio winger and one of Italy’s star players of Euro 2016 : Antonio Candreva only wants to join Inter. Napoli and Lazio have already reached an agreement on signing the Italian player but he doesn’t seem to be fond of joining the team from Naples. So it will be interesting to see where the player will finally end up especially after Inter’s Sporting Director Ausilio diminishing all the candreva links in yesterday’s press as it will be nearly impossible for the Milanese outfit to sign him keeping in mind the Financial constraints.

Candreva is 29 years old. He is a late bloomer. Wingers need pace and stamina to be effective. I hope that we don’t sign him.

Lamela reminds me of Ricky. Tall, technical, and talented. But inconsistent.
Ricky was a great player, one of our few bright stars of that era. But like others, he was just one of the victims of the stormy condition of our club and its fucking coaches and managers.

Ranieri was great with Vakencia and was the man behind the Chelsea team Mourinho won almost everything with, when he first went to England. Almost EVERY player in the team were bought in by Ranieri, like Terry and Drogba….

Ricky even haven’t done much for Sampdoria. Ricky is NOT a bad player. A very good bench player. Lamela is just a little bit better, and Spurs is a rich club, so they would ask a lot for him.
I said time and time again. We have a CL caliber young squad now. They might not be as good as what Juve has, but the distance between us and CL last season was Mancini growing some balls so we wouldn’t lose points against likes of Carpi, Genoa, Palermo. The only players that can now help us are worldclass ones.

Candreva is a winger like Perisic and would be awesome on the right wing, whereas Joao is more a central player and would be fine in a box to box role in the middle of the pitch!
At this point I think Candreva truly is Inter’s best option, which isn’t a bad thing, but I had hoped for better. Maybe if we were to offer 20 million plus another 5 million in performance bonuses Lotito will finally budge because Candreva does seem adamant to join Inter.
