cDutch defender Jeffrey Bruma spoke to German newspaper BILD and, in doing so, confirmed he was close to joining Inter before eventually opting to sign for Wolfsburg. He said: “I had other options, I could go to Italy with Inter or return to Chelsea. There was also the opportunity to stay at PSV and play in the Champions League there. In the end I liked Wolfsburg’s project the most. It is a club where I can play regularly which is very important for my development. At Inter or Chelsea it would be more diffciult to progress.”
