Massimo Moratti spoke to Radio TMW about the current status of Inter:
On Suning – “The fans should not have doubts about the quality of this project. We are talking about very serious people trying to work together to make sure that the team is certainly stronger next year. Of course, the group and the new members are yet to know the new reality, but the project is certainly important.”
On Icardi’s situation – “No, I prefer not to comment. I think everyone has their own way of handling things. I am not part of the current Inter and that is why I can not speak on the subject.”
In regards to Candreva’s arrival – “I think it’s a good buy. Mancini certainly has a very specific type of game plan in mind according to this arrival, so it’s definitely good.”
The mercato – “Right now, with Icardi present, the team is strong. Of course you can always improve, but it may also be weaker. This is a team that can easily meet their obligations and achieve goals.”
Mancini- “The worst behind us? I sure hope so, but it is also right that this has happened. The championship is coming and in about 20 days we start. Surely it would be good to find resolutions to go in the same direction and get along, because the league, I repeat, is really very close.”
Any return to Inter? – “I have confidence in these new buyers, who are also aided by the experience of Thohir. I think there is no need for any of my speech.”
And Juventus? – “A very, very strong team. Very very strong. They seem detached from the others in a lonely race, but football in play is a thing in itself. At the current state of affairs they seem even stronger than last year.”

They ask wrong question, all I want to hear is the progress regarding new stadium
Remember… Leciester can beat Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal and any other else who has more competitive player in the last season.
So, why can’t we?
I know this is a dream, not some kind of expectation.
But, sometimes, dream comes true, right?
Right, MU spend big last season n chelsea as defending champion not lost their stars but see what happen?leicester win EPL not chelsea or mu get CL spot
Serie A is completely pointless these days, with Rubentus being so ridiculously superior to the rest of the league.
Sadly this wont change anytime soon. Cant see anyone other than Rube winning the Scudetto this decade.
This decade? 10 years? Did you forget what the “b” in Rubentus stands for? I’m assuming it must’ve slipped your mind because that was exactly 10 years ago that Rubentus was preparing for a season in Serie B. If that’s not evidence enough that a lot can change in a decade, then I don’t know what is!
There is not 10 years left in “this decade”. This decade is 2010-2020 which means 4 more seasons.
Barring another calciopoli, then its highly likely Rubentus will win every single remainning season.
And no, thats not what the “b” stands for… The “Rub” part comes from the italian “Rubare” meaning “to steal”.
The term decade isn’t necessarily specific to a certain span of 10 years, but “this decade” should’ve made that more clear, so please excuse the mistake. Regardless, even if we’re talking about this decade (2010-2019), if all goes well for Inter this season I can’t see why we wouldn’t be Scudetto contenders next year. Suning hasn’t gotten the proper chance to invest the 200 million they promised when they bought the club, and if Inter is competing in CL next season I would assume that they will open the bank for us to make some very nice signings. You don’t think that if Inter signed the likes of a Dimitri Payet/James Rodriguez, Bruno Peres, Ricardo Rodriguez, etc, etc, we wouldn’t be fighting for a Scudetto? The “b” carries a double meaning, for both reasons that were stated. I’m well aware of what rubare means, I took courses in Italian throughout high school and college, although I have become admittedly rusty.
