According to CalcioMercato Gabigol met with his father, and other family members before Brazil’s match against South Africa today. He briefly discussed his future. I think some of the guys in this site are agents of Berardi-The-Overhyped!
The guy is not even at Azzuri level with at least 35M price tag and somehow happened to be our next R9 or Zlatan!
IMO we should go all in for Berardi. If we can’t get him now, then we should keep the money for next transfer period. He is young, much more talented than Gabriel, doesn’t have that crazy South American character that led to many destroyed careers in football, in my eyes he is 100% complement with Icardi, and most important – Serie A proven player. 25-30M for him is a great price both for us and for Sassuolo.
Btw, “we won’t sell him now, we will sell him next year” is just bullshit, and it means that they are waiting for the best offer (or any good offer) till the last minute.
I totally agree, Berardi should be our top priority for the “talented/future” spot. He’s better than Barbosa and 100% suited for Serie A.
For me Berardi > Barbosa > Bernardeschi > Lamela.
No, unfortunately that’s NOT bullshit. Filthy juBentus have their claws on him, they have a gentlemen’s agreement with Sassuolo [Sassuolo president is ac milan fan btw! he won’t sell to us, Ausilio tried to ask for him but he rejected us]. Even juBentus bastards stated Berardi won’t join INTER – even if they are not allowed to intervene in theory, the player is being “blocked” for them.
Berardi wanted to stay 1 more year to keep his development on the rise, by playing every game – smart decision. That’s because Sassuolo don’t want to sell him to us… That’s the sad reality. I would even pay 30m+ for Berardi. Best one to get out there!
Watched the game today and it looked like he could turn out to be a great striker for us, if he can fit in Serie A that is.
But he will be wasted on the right wing.
Either we play him as a lone striker or will be better if we don’t buy him at all.
He played as a RW today…
Lol I am hopping that he flops in Olympics along with Brazil eliminated so his proce tag would not go up for us…
His release cause is 50 million euro.
However, it doesn’t matter as his contract with Santos have an exit clause. 25 million euro bid (which Inter was reported to have offered) is sufficient to trigger this. All that left is the player decision as the exit clause has some conditions to it.
Read more about it here:

left over
Stop wasting time on him, he is too high profile for Inter.
He obviously wont decide anything until after the olympics and all the top clubs of europe are watching the olympics to spot talents.
With 99% certainty some bigger/richer club is going to swoop him after the olympics.
Stop wasting time on him and focus on more realistic targets.
You sir have to be the most pessimistic fan I’ve ever witnessed. I haven’t see you make a single comment in which you relay a positive message about Inter. Do you not hold any pride in being an Interista? Or is it that you aren’t an Interista at all?
he is right though, these Brazilians can go fuck themselves with their 3rd party and 4th and 5th party ownerships they are complicated and just cuz they come from there people want to bid really high for them, lucas moura was much better than these two GS and GB and he is a failure for his price tag that psg paid for him, like someone mention in some other post IDK who it was thought he said these ne Brazilians players aren’t even flashy for our eyes to enjoy , I remember denilson he was insane flashy wasn’t that good but flashy as hell and that satisfied the fans this guy is nothing 35m my arse
If we have 25m to spend, I would rather splash it on Berardi! I would even pay 30m for Berardi – he’s the real deal for Serie A – young, italian and strong mentality – just like what we need.
You don`t need flashy players or tricks a la Quaresma to win – just remember our TREBLE TEAM <3
Brazilians have superior technique but the problem is in their mental strength and determination to overcome problems.
Some INTER fans would rather sign Bernardeschi from Fiorentina – but we all know that would be a complicated procedure from Della Valle.
Bernadeshi is shite.
I agree that the ownership methods in S. America are far too out of hand, but I don’t think the players coming from there has anything to do with their price tags, the world of football is just an expensive place these days. However, I do have to disagree about Lucas being much better than both Gabriels, and that being flashy is somehow automatically a positive thing. Being flashy doesn’t have a direct correlation with how effective a player is, in fact it often hinders them. As DARi0 mentioned below, look back at Quaresma and how ineffective he was. Even Cristiano Ronaldo admitted that he stopped doing as many flashy moves because they proved ineffective, why beat one defender with a piece of skill when you can beat the whole line with your positioning? That’s why I see promise in both Gabriels, they are similar to both Cristiano Ronaldo and their compatriot Ronaldo in that they possess both the ability to beat a defender with skill 1v1 and beat a defensive line with their positioning. Lucas however is still very much a two trick pony, he has speed and skill, but that can only get you so far. All world class players have the ability to adapt to an opponent and use multiple skills to beat them. I think given the right platform, both Gabriels could exceed Lucas by a good margin.
You are confusing being pessimistic with being realistic.
People need to realise that Inter is not a big club these days and cannot attract top talents like GJ or Gabigol.
Inter already wasted half the mercato chasing GJ and Joao Mario, instead of focussing on realistic targets. Now they are wasting time chasing gabigol who will without a doubt sign for some bigger team after the olympics.
Its really dumb management.
Yeah and its only for buy, how about sell??
I’m not confused at all, but I think you may be confused about what team you support. Inter is certainly a big club these days, if this was 2012-14 you might have an argument, but for this current season Inter is right up there with everyone except for the mega clubs, essentially right outside the top 10. We can also attract top talent, Gabriel Jesus choosing Man City over us is telling of what kind of person he is ($$$), not what type of club Inter is, especially when he had Ronaldo, a club legend, promoting Inter to him throughout the process. Joao Mario is only unrealistic due to the ridiculous price tag Sporting have placed on him. The player himself was very adamant about joining Inter, even to the point where he asked Sporting to lower their evaluation of him so we can afford the still hefty transfer fee we were willing to pay. I’m not exactly the epitome of optimism, but as an Inter supporter, I do exactly what that entails.. support my club!
i think you are severly delusional if you think Inter are “right outside top 10” in europe. Bizarre statement.
But i guess we wont agree, so lets just leave it at that.
I’m referring to the current Inter side, not the team from last year. We’ve only improved since then, as some teams, namely Napoli and Roma, have gotten significantly worse by selling their best players. In my opinion there are currently only 12 teams that are clearly superior to Inter: Barcelona, Bayern, Real Madrid, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Man City, PSG, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal, Tottenham. There are definitely other teams that could be argued as better: Sevilla, Liverpool, Wolfsburg, Napoli, Roma. Although they’re all relatively even and would only prove superior due to form. This would place Inter somewhere in the top 13-18 range depending on their form throughout the season, certainly not outside the top 20. Inter are not only a big club in terms of history right now, we’re a big club in general, unless you’re the type who only considers CL contenders as a big club which just isn’t a proper scale in my opinion. Inter are a top 3 team in a top 4 league, competing in Europe, now have a multi billionaire owner, and an excellent youth sector. The only thing Inter seems to be missing is our own stadium, which should be a real possibility in the near future. I just can’t understand how you’re possibly an Inter supporter with the lack of confidence and passion you show towards the team. Why support a club you have no enthusiasm for? Or seemingly don’t even like?
or another worst scenario is that he will be a big flop like he was in the copa then he will be available for inter
He scored 2 goals in the copa, was any player performing well for Brazil in Copa America? I don’t think so.
no but it doesn’t mean he wasn’t a flop
against Haiti that I could score?
Didn’t he also barely play?
Every big club knows about Gabigol, he may be new to you but not to the rest of the world, do you think that big clubs don’t have scouts in Brazil? Barcelona and Juventus are already talking with him, what big clubs are you talking about? There’s been multiple stories saying he’s interested in Inter
Which player do you suggest then?
Bigger/richer clubs are ALREADY packed in the front line, just like we do, but he’s an investment for the future and I’m sure you know this. Fact is, I would rather keep the money for Berardi type of guy, but it seems that the chinese want to gamble as Barbosa’s price might explode if he can confirm in Europe [especially difficult Serie A].
I don’t think he’s too high profile for us, actually I’m quite curious if he can prove himself in Italy where everybody blocks the goal.
Who would you rather focus on? Bernardeschi?! Let us know.
PS: Forza Inter Forums misses you ^^
Definitely not Bernadeshi, i think he is s dud. Dont understand why some people rate him at all.
Bigger/richer teams are packed in attack, yes. But they can afford to just sign Gabigol and play him as a sub and see if he breaks through. Even if he doesnt, then he wont lose much value in the next couple of years anyways since he only 19.
All this talk about Inter having an advantage because they can offer him more first team football is just media nonsense. In the end money and prestige matter 10x times more. They said the same nonsense with GJ and then in less than a week he had agreed terms with City suddenly.
Berardi is impossible and would also be stupid to go for now that Candreva signed anyways as they play the same position.
Frankly, I haven’t seen anything of Bernardeschi that would make me sign him. Add that to Della Valle family’s reluctance to negociate with us, makes it a big no-no.
I agree – Barbosa will not walk into our starting line-up, he first has to learn italian language and italian tactics. Media claimed we told his father that he would be a “protagonist” – whatever that means. Perisic – Banega – Candreva should be starters on paper, of course, but perhaps it’s smart to prepare for the future. You never know who might come back with a huge bid for Perisic next year! And if Conte calls him, I would break the bank for Berardi [bidding war with juBentus].
What`s your opinion on João Mário? Do you rate him?
So, are you coming back to FIF? ^^
So nothing new?
