Roberto Mancini was interviewed exclusively by Inter Channel after his Inter suffered a heavy 6-1 defeat against Tottenham at Oslo’s Ullevaal Stadium.
“Nobody likes losing, especially 6-1. Despite the result, however, the first half was excellent. It was the first time we had all the players together and they did some good things. From the 50-minute mark and onwards we made too many mistakes and the final score is the result of that. It’s never nice to lose, but I prefer playing against good sides. Leaving the result aside, it’s always better to play quality teams.”
Mancini then spoke about new signing Ever Banega who made his debut stating that “Banega is a player that needs freedom on the pitch. He’s a quality player and we need those runs from deep to get us goals. It was the first time the team had played together and they can get better through hard work. Next season we want to improve on fourth place and that’s within our capabilities. We need to work hard to make sure our fitness is right so we can perform well.”

If we sold Brozovic (25 million), Icardi (70 million) and handanovic (~15 million) then this team would be more than possible. Bacca wants to leave Milan and they want around 30 million, Luiz Gustavo could come for 22, Peres for 20 and I read that we have an agreement of 10 million for the young but brilliant Perin of Genoa. those 4 players would add up to 82 million…… then their is still the 25 million of brozovic to buy a back up center back and/or gabigol. Opinions?
I would want those 3 players sold as Icardi is lazy, Brozovic is lazy and and too inconsistent and Handanovic thinks he is too good for the club.

I don’t think he’s totally wrong. I watched the game, and we did play well in the first half. We were solid defensively and only game up a badly called penalty and a great goal from Lamela. We didn’t have everyone, Icardi was still kinda hurt, and it was their first time playing fully together. The second half, however, was awful. So many defensive errors, seemed to lose confidence. Hopefully this doesn’t happen during the season.

I dont jugde..Im telling what i saw! And this i’ve seen to many times before, from him. I agree he got his moments, but saying this guy is worth 70M is pure bullshit! Well to be fair Vieri was 26-32 years when he was in Inter and had Ronaldo as a partner. Icardi have been here between year span 20-23 (better goal ratio/year than even Vieri). The best is yet to come and besides he was half-injured last night if reports are true and it was a practice game after a crazy intense traveling program.
