There is a possible future in Italy for Diego Costa. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Chelsea forward has been offered to Milan, Inter and Napoli should they fail their assault for the Inter captain Mauro Icardi as their replacement for Higuain. Inter would be offered Diego Costa in the case that Icardi leaves, either to Arsenal or Napoli, the latter of which have most recently offered 45 million Euros plus Gabbiadini for the Argentine. The spaniard who’s wage commands 4.5 million Euros a season would be deemed surplus to requirements should Conte get Lukaku from Everton.

If this rumor is true we should defiantly sell Icardi to Napoli and go for Costa. He has the right winning mentality. If you look at our current team we do not have a lot of players that exudes that they want to win at any cost. Costa can bring that! Thinking of our dreadful game yesterday where we lost 6-1 and some of last seasons games we need a change of mentality. We need leaders!

I totally agree with this idea. Costa will fit Serie A really well. Great physical attributes (typical of striker that Mancio and (someday) Simeone want) and he can confront defenders with his “dirty” play (Materazzi-type of player)
I say, sell Icardi for ideally 80m.
Replace him with Diego Costa for 35m probably. The other 15m on Darmian. The rest can be spared for Gabigol and/or Berardi. Gabigol can cover for Diego Costa or play alongside him.

Would not be happy to let go of Icardi, but IF these signings would be possible then it would certainly be worth it to increase the overall quality of the team by far. Almost as good as selling Ibra and getting Eto’o, Sneijder and Lucio. Well okay not really… But it is a start!
