It seems as if Inter are set to resolve Roberto Mancini’s situation as soon as possible. According to Sky journalist Fabrizio Romano, Inter are set to announce Mancini’s dismissal in the coming hours. Dutch coach Frank De Boer will be announced as Italian’s heir as well.

First of all, I have to congratulate all of Interisti who support Mancini’s sacking. Probably they are the same people who always think that in football, coach is expendable figure and getting new coach will save Inter. Same people who shouted “Yaya and Biglia are too old” and “let’s buy Gabigol, Gabriel Jesus etc because they are young”. Seriously?? Age and Youtube above class and experience??
I have to say that the problem is not Mancini himself. It is the management’s fault after all. I will explain it below why I think it is the management who should take all the blame. Like I’ve said in my previous comment regarding Mancini, I am not Mancini supporter nor anti-Mancini. I only think what’s best for Inter.
Mancini’s contract will be expired next year and Inter have already strengthen the team based on Mancio’s request. We got two decent fullbacks who I believe are the upgrade version of our current fullbacks (Erkin and Ansaldi), one regista (Banega), and one established right winger (Candreva). So technically, this team is built for Mancini’s football which always combines physicality and technique. Adding this element with the core players that we already have such as Handa, Miranda, Murillo, Icardi, Kondogbia, Medel, Brozovic, and Perisic, one can expect Inter as top three challenger for the coming season. Even Gregucci has already joined to aid Mancini from tactical point of view. Now, with Mancini is leaving and (let’s say) De Boer is coming then he probably demands bunch of new player which suit his tactics. This is dangerous considering the market is almost closed and the current squad should adapt to new tactics in very short time. Moreover, Mancini and De Boer do not share the same tactical nous. The former always demands physicality from his players, while the latter is Cruyff’s disciple. Another aspect to consider is De Boer’s experience in Serie A. Usually foreign coach will take time to adapt to Serie A. Ask Simeone, Luis Enrique, Benitez etc. How long Inter’s management plan to keep De Boer in case he fails to meet their expectation??
As I mentioned above, the management should take the blame of this recent sacking. They never learn from their past regarding sacking and changing coaches too many times in short period of time. This is what happen if the pure businessmen take control of our club. Perhaps Thohir and co think “let’s sack Mancini because his football is boring as hell and bring total football to our stadium to attract more people.” More people means more money after all. Well if that’s the case then I am very sad to learn that these kind of people own Inter just for business sake. Moreover, they should learn how to maintain continuity. Just give Mancini time and chance to fulfil his target and if he can’t make it just let him leave in the end of his contract. Last season he failed because that was his “first” full season with several new players coming in. I expect this season to be a different one.
Now that the carrots are cooked, we can only expect the best for Inter. I hope De Boer can bring out the best of this squad and probably attract big names as well. In the end of the day, I am just wondering whether the other Interista will be shouting for De Boer’s sacking or not if this guy fails the uphill task as they did with Mancini.
I dont think they’re that simple…
We are the one that make simple coments here…
Big business, big money, football industry, no dude, its never that simple, not to mention if the football club is run by businessmen, they ought to have thorough thinking and decision process.
mancini himself who refused to renewal btw. maybe he finally relaize his inability to reach CL spot.
i’m sure our managment are not that stupid to hire someone before talking about their vision, resource, and goals first. N would be stupid for a Manager to take a job without knowing all of it. this is not suddenly decision, they just wait mancini to put some fire to burn them.
You can not so easily to blame management. even in life you have to face the facts and make a decision before it is too late.
in this case they are our leaders . people who will bear all the decisions taken. as fans we should support what is best for this team,
for that we must respect and support our leaders decision first.
Let’s hope all goes as well as possible.
the carrots are cooked, lets hope the best for inter..
lol
So could you please elaborate to us, what is Mancini’s football actually?
It’s been almost two years but still we have no idea what he wanted to do with his Inter. If you refer to physicality and technique, that’s too general as it is the characteristic of modern football.
If you observe carefully, the squad is built for playing 4-3-3/4-3-2-1/4-2-3-1 formation. Any decent manager with proper knowledge and enough balls, could maximize the potential of this squad better than Mancini did. De Boer will find this squad was built for his tactical preferences as he always plays 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 at Ajax. Of course, several reinforcements should come, especially to cover our weaknesses at fullbacks and centerback.
Last, did you even know that Suning & Thohir were coming to Mancini and offered him a renewal with 6 million euros/years? The problem was Mancini’s ass was too arrogant to accept the new clauses tied to results & performances.
So it’s quite funny if you’re blaming Suning & Thohir in this case. Actually, they wanted to give Mancini another time and chance to fulfill his target. That’s exactly what Suning & Thohir offered to him. Too bad, Mancini thinks his arrogant ass is bigger than our Inter. I only regret that our management should have fired his arrogant ass earlier for the sake of Inter.
i feel like mancini didnt want to handle the pessure of misachiving again , beacause does’nt have any excuse now after the club promised him to bring what he wants suddenly he want’s to leave ??
I really don’t know what to think.. It can be good, because we have no chemistry and no style, I hope De Boer know what to do, I’m tired of seeing random XI every week.
I feel sorry for mancini but I am excited with the arrival.of de boer due to his fluid attacking tactical style. Lets hope he can migle with players and adapt with serie a asap.. I am just afraid that his style doesnt work in italy. Not to mention language barrier.
One down….next can we change the whole management? Because it’s obvious now that they are incapable idiots…
I absolutely agree with you. yes it’s the management!!!
What do you mean with incapable idiots?
I hope you know that our squads are improve under FFP restriction, our financial condition are getting better. And compare to Milan our condition is better
Yes I knew it, but the fact that we have to fall under FFP restriction is a proof that they are incapable. Ok it might be Moratti’s regime, but after that? Having 3 coaches in 3 years is a proof of mismanagement. No proper plan, at least in technical aspect have been shown. No development in youth sector regardless of their achievements. No proper scout team, heck atleti is the best example, losing both aguero & forlan, they got falcao, next costa, next griezman, and I believe they will have a subtitute should they sold him. While inter? After the best mercato in 2009-2010, we stuck with mediocres.
But in spite of that, I respect their plan in building/owning our own stadium (though it should have been thought and planned years ago)
Really tired of that reset button we keep using ever year. Kinda hard to get excited about any season when everyone is suupose to be the start of something. Some type of stability at the top would be nice
I’ve wanted De Boer this whole summer, glad it’s finally happening, I was worried another club would bring him in, just a shame it happened after Milik already moved, I wanted him at Inter
Bye bye melo! 😀 hopefully this dude can pull, what on paper is actually a very good team together.
The best news I’ve head all summer xD finally!
After the talks in America and the reports of him getting a renewal Mancio gets booted? Really weird, I can’t wait to know the reason why. Let’s hope De Boer takes the wheel as quickly as possible cause we’ll be vulnerable now, let’s hope noone from the squad leaves.
No one is leaving? Are you really sure about that? We still have a lot of junks to be cleaned out. Rano, Melo, Nagatomo, Dodo should follow Mancini’s departure. Better players will come and take their places to make our Inter stronger and younger than ever.

I should have specified 😀 I didn’t mean the trash. I meant a certain captain whose wife wants to buy more bling bling and a certain croat whose agent has been repeating “Everything is ok, my client is happy at Inter” for two weeks now.
here comes TOTAL FOOTBALL. goodbye mancio.
i think the most important thing is for us get UEFA CL football first then worry about good footbal later
Bombing Thohir with Mancini out request in his IG apparently works…
Thohir & Suning must be lost in patience with the manner of latest defeat.
kudos to you man :))
Haha no I didn’t bother him but I saw a lot of #manciniout comments in his IG posts. He is busy in Rio Olympics right now
yeah, i saw that post where he congratulated our female weightlifter for her silver medal
Being an Interista for over 30 years I have grown used to this nonsense. I do not understand the club I support. Hiring and firing coaches all the time is not a way to achieve long term success. Essentially Mancini quit or got fired after NEVER seeing the full squad together one time yet. Think how ridiculous that is, really! I am not sure it’s all his fault or all the management’s fault. They clearly share the blame and only one person can be made the scapegoat. Ciao Roberto.
hats on you, man
suning has offered him a renewal but mancini refused it.
I thought this shit would end once Moratti was gone, but I guess I was wrong.
Happy..happy.. Thanks mancio for the El this year hope you succesa on another place..
Im glad Mancio is gone but I would’ve preferred to go after Pelligrini or Blanc
Bergkamp back at the club as assistant manager Lmao
Oh Inter, oh Inter, always the same retarded mistakes, always. Change a coach a couple of weeks before the new season starts, give the new coach the old one’s squad and expect miracles from him, and when he doesnt deliver the miracles, sack him as well and repeat the whole thing.
I thought that this sort of nonsence will end once Moratti is not the owner, but it seems that the club is a magnet for retarded managment.
Now De Boer will want to sell a lot of the players and bring in new ones to match his philosophy, the club wont have time to do that, we will say that this is a new ‘year zero’, we wont make it to the CL, at the end of the season people will say that its because De Boer doesnt have the players he need, then half the squad will be replaced during the summer and sometime after that De Boer will be replaced with someone else. Fuck you Suning!
The season hasnt even started and you are going all crazy. Relax. This is what happens when you dont achieve your goals at a big club. Mancini had his squad last season and he failed to get us to the CL. This is not Genoa, if you dont achieve objectives you will get sacked.
we are not achiving our objectives since 2010 bro.
And yes we are becoming a club like genoa,he ”R9” is completely right and on point with everything he wrote.
But i get what your saying..
A team that said no when other team pay 70 mil to your player same with genoa? Ok, that makes sense
Of course we arent reaching objectives with mediocre coaches and management. This was a good decision, I hope De Boer works out.
You obviously are young and havent been around this bullsh*t long enough. Give it some time
Been a fan since 1998, I’m not a teenager but you seem to be stuck in the past.
Nah, we will be lucky if we reach europa league with mancini shitty football and attitude and creating bad environment inside the team, either he stay we will still be shit
Benitez replaced Mou and had a preseason. 6 month in to the league he got sacked and Leonardo came and he quit after the season was over. Gasperini came at June and had a preseason and got sacked 1 month in to the league. Ranieri took over and was the trainer all the way till it was just a few matches left of the season when he got sacked and Stramaccioni raplaced him and also had a preseason! Strama was the trainer for a year and got sacked at the end of the season and replaced by Mazzarri! Mazzarri got sacked a few month in, in the season and replaced by Mancini.. So your anylays of bad management by sacking before the season start isn’t corect! The problem is that there is no patience in Inter! Not at the fans and not at the management!!
So what do you expect from a manager who has already lost the dressing room and trust from his own players? A manager who asked for a 33 years old Yaya Toure to be the center of new Inter project. I’d say fuck you Mancini!
FYI, Suning and Thohir were willing to talk with Mancini about a new contract but adjusted with an additional clause tied to objectives and performances. Quite fair as Mancini wanted a renewal but Suning were not that stupid since Mancini failed to meet last season objectives and promises. Mancini arrogant ass got hurt because of these adjustments. He thinks his arrogant ass is bigger than Inter.
Inter cannot get to third place simply because the squad and managers are changing so often that it’s impossible to build a ‘team mentality’. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely hate Mancini as a coach, I didn’t like him previously, I don’t like him now – I think his football knowledge is questionable. BUT, chancing a coach at this very moment is VERY, VERY wrong because it is the team that will suffer in the end once again. There is literally no way that we will get to the CL this season, you can can tell me that “I’m going crazy, season hasn’t started yet” but you all know that this is true.
So, another season down the drain, and who can say that we will not be in this same situation next summer?? “Replace De Boer, he’s an idiot, he failed his objective, we’re not in the CL”. Of course he will not make it to the CL, he is given a squad he didn’t choose, he has a hard time getting the right players because which world class player wants to play in the Europa League??? And it will be all over again. You can quote me on this next summer, I know it will happen, I’ve seen it far to many times now.
You sound like a fortune teller there mate. We don’t know what will happen to Inter after this saga, could be better or maybe even worse. But let’s try to be fair. Give Frank De Boer the same time like Mancini got. After that we can judge them equally. I only have a strange feeling that the history will repeat itself, just like Mourinho after Mancini. We will not win Scudetto for sure as Rube & Roma are stronger than us for now. I can see De Boer will struggle in his first year at Serie-A but I’m quite sure we will enjoy much better football than Mancini did with his lucky 1-0 wins.
My only regret is that the management should have sacked him much earlier. I agreed with you, sacking a manager two weeks before season started is pretty late. But still we have to appreciate Thohir & Suning’s courages to fire Mancini’s arrogant ass. For me, Inter are bigger than Mancini’s arrogant ass. Just like 8 years ago.
But you see, giving him the same amount of time as we gave Mancini is simply not enough. Getting 2 transfer windows and 1 year is not enough to build a team. Not in this situation Inter is right now. This is not Moratti’s Inter where he would splash a lot of money on world class players. This is a team that needs to start with mediocre / good players and develop them into a group of players with a great team attitude. We dont have that at Inter after 2010. And in order to get it, we need to get a coach we can trust and give him TIME.
well, if theres one thing mancini DOESNT know is how to develop players, his method is to replace them if they wont turn out the way he expected them
this might be another year zero, but at least, this time, we might actually have a direction we are heading to, not just stumbling in one place for 1.5 years
btw, if you think about it, we nearly managed to get 3rd place with disgusting football and a fair amount of luck, so imagine if the same squad given a new, fresh impulse and clear tactical ideas… this squad has what it takes to get back CL, the coach just have to make them perform at a 100% – after all, thats one of the key element of being a coach. if a team is destined to be 4th and reaches 4th, theres no value added there… Simeone’s squad shouldnt be anywhere near CL-finals or fighting Barca and Real constantly, yet, they are there…
Exactly that’s why De Boer is suitable to this new Inter project. He will work directly with our current squad as I do believe the squad is capable of playing De Boer’s favorite tactics (4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1). Perisic and Candreva will have more fun with De Boer. Some reinforcements may come to replace junks like Rano and Melo, but I’m pretty sure he will be more than happy with our current squad now. Of course some tweaks are needed here and there. But it’s very normal. We do really need more winning mentality that Mancini failed to install to his team. Just cross our fingers, De Boer will do the best for our Inter.
They are trying to rush De Boer in as news has broken and Leonardo rushes to hand in his CV
