Sporting wants an outright sale. The other goal is Sissoko while the alternative is already at home and it is Brozovic whom there is a proposal for renewal of 2.2 million and therefore Inter would not need other midfielders.”
Baiocchini then moved on to speak about Martin Caceres and Gabigol: “Cáceres is free but asks for 3 million in wages, while Gabigol will come in January by the will of the family, of Santos and the player.”

i like caceres but will there be too much conflict if we have a Brazilian (miranda), a Colombian (murillo), a Chilean (medel), and potentially a Uruguayan (caceres) all competing for a spot. That didn’t seem to work out well when we had so many balkans last season (croatia, montenegro, serbia, slovenia etc.)

He is very injury prone.

Caceres is better than Crapnocchia and Dumbo for sure. But Azzkikr pointed valid points here, 3m is too much for him as he is injury prone and was only a backup at Rube. 2m is a win-win offer for both sides. Another option: Crapnocchia and Melo can be offloaded first to free some wages so we can offer 2.5 – 3m to Caceres. Inter must move fast. Otherwise we will be stuck with those headless chicken.
3 mil a year with no transfer fee is a great deal. Spread it over a 4 year deal a figure it’s 12 mil total. Think of it in other terms. If we were forced to pay 8 mil transfer for him he would only cost 1 mil a year. This is peanuts. He is good, knows serie a well. He is a better full back then what we have minus ansaldi and a better defender than rano. He will also give m and m competition so that they are always trying to play at the top of their game. Best of all we will not fall apart in defence when one of them is hurt or suspended. Give him his money and enjoy. He is 29 and will be worth having for the next 4 years.
Yep, 3 mil is much, but consider not having transfer fee aka its free so its cheap I guess..
seriously, just pay the amount necessary to release melo, rano, naga, etc. its better than having them here to put in the XI
I hate how slow inter are in transfer markets. Its painful to watch them get players. And when a great player such as Caceres is free, they still are slow to make a move..I can’t stand it
