Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti has hit back at his team following the defeat against Chievo Verona on Sunday, admitting that just defeat to the Gialloblu was not needed at all.
”There are no excuses for the defeat against Chievo, even the physical condition. We have to react immediately, taking advantage of the boost that the fans will give us as they are the most important thing we have out there.”, said the former Inter captain.
”De Boer an intelligent technician and knows where you can improve as a team. Samir Handanovic says that the problem was the U.S tour? So many clubs have done this type of trip, the players are here to practice, no excuses.”
