Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli has expressly asked the club to sign Inter’s Chilean midfield terrier Gary Medel, El Decano Deportivo reports.
According to the report, Sevilla have made an offer of €8 million to lure Medel from Inter but the Nerazzurri have deemed the offer to low and are asking for €12 million. However, despite having their offer declined, El Decano reports that Sevilla are positive that they will be able to conclude the transfer before the transfer window closes on Wednesday August 31st.
Should that occur, Medel will be reunited with former Chilean national team coach Sampoali, with whom he won the Copa America in 2015 on home turf,

Not a juve fan. Guys like this are self hating inter fans. Why else would he spend all his time on inter message boards reading news pertinent to our team and commenting all over the place. As for caceres they allowed his contract to run up due to his injury and the fact that they have a good young defender in rugani and they were able to buy benatia. Since the BBC is so good together it’s hard for caceres to displace one. He is a good fb also but only in a 4 back and as a more defensive option. I say all this because I love inter more than anything but I love serie a a ton and have been watching almost every game for the past 5 years (since I got the amazing soccer package lol I’ve been watching serie a on rai international for 27 years)

well, if you remember in 2009 he was on loan with us with the option to buy but go injured but went back to spain then juve brought him back so he is always injured. he’s a good player, much better FB than a CB but can play both positions. he’s a heavy drinker – had 2 car accidents and one was a DUI. when you drink heavily and you are injury prone it just gets worse when you get older. only advantage is he’s free ……but so was vidic and melo and look how that ended? why not get andreolli back ?
Yeah, inter already have andreolli but some of my friend doubt he can perform well after injured. But ceceres have injury record to, even its worst than andreoli. ceceres like never complete a season without injury. Okey we can get him for free but im afraid he can disrupt the team with his attitude off the pitch.

I agree mate! He just won the copa America in this summer so I think 8 mill is for Rano or lower. 15 million is good for him but I’d say 20 million is more appropriate. Have you seen Zaza’s price? Plus: Medel is one of my favorite midfielder. Hard work and never have excuses when we lost

Even then, I wouldn’t do it, as we need the depth at mid when Banega/Joao/Kdog are out of the game. Plus, even €12m isn’t enough to compensate for what he’s worth to us.
